I went with my friends and we all loved the food. There were so many options, our favourites being the toast and chicken hearts. It is so well decorated and the service is unmatched. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

New Northern Chinese style bbq in metro area, food is very nostalgic, coming here reminds me of being in China in a good way. Atmosphere is lively, good place to have a few drinks with friends too!

Mr. BeiGai BBQ is truly a hidden gem that I stumbled upon during my food hunt in the city. Their skewers are out of this world and the customer service is top-notch.

We were nervous we were going to have a bad experience here. We got there right when it opened for dinner service, and it was freezing in there as they didn't have the heat on. They turned on the heat and let it take its course to warm up the restaurant. They did bring us over some hot tea, kept checking and apologizing to us for the cold restaurant. From that point forward I believe it was the manager that came and checked on us often to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Overall, the food had similar favours if you ordered the bbq skewers so the key is mix it up a bit and order different items, like their steamed menu items etc. For me the most surprising item I tried was a bbq sweet toast. I saw someone order it and watched them enjoy every bite. When I took a bite of the toast...for me it was like eating toast with cotton candy infused in it. I was not expecting that and it was definitely the highlight for me. The manager made up for the evening with the extra service and I like the decor and theme of the restaurant.
