Reviews:

Loved this place! Ok let's start by saying Vancouver's hot pot game is off the chain. There are so many hot pot places in the lower mainland. If you open one, it BETTER be good. I usually like the OG spots... like landmark & fatty cow, but I've tried a few of the new kids on the block as well. Went to Shu Tao a couple weeks ago, and I think this place is better!

This place did not disappoint. It is very high end. It's nice, and clean. Most important part of a hot pot restaurant is quality meats, and of course the sauce bar!

Meats: Large variety of meats. Had probably about 6 different ones and all of them were very fresh, no taste of freezer burn or anything like that. Mizayaki A5 was sooooooo good. There was also another beef that was amazing that was friendlier on the pocket. (I'll update what it is shortly)

Seafood: Large variety as well. I liked the lobster and the snapper the most. Had the shrimp too. I prefer spot prawns at hot pot tho.

Balls: Truffle balls!!!!

There is also a special Chinese donut stuffed with shrimp paste. First time having something like this at hot pot. It was amazing!!!

Service was amazing. Had someone to attend our table the entire time. Plate and beverage service on point. This place also has very nice presentation.

Broth Suggestions: Macao Bone Broth, shezcuan spicy if you want more of a "Chinese" hot pot experience.

Sauce:
Sa-cha or Satay for Meat
Sesame & Peanut Butter Sauce for Beef
Special Soy with lots of garlic, green onions and some fresh chili with a bit of sugar and Sesame oil for Seafood/Veggies.

Japanese Shabu Hack:
Order sukiyaki and/or dashi if you want a "Japanese" experience. I only mention this because there is no good shabu shabu in Vancouver, but this place definitely will curb that craving for you if that's what your looking for. Eat this with raw egg dip, or Sesame/peanut butter sauce. There is no ponzu here tho.

Overall, had a great experience here. Private rooms are great for large parties and service is great. Also has its own private washroom.
