Best Shaved Ice in the City!
I live in the area, so when I first heard rumours of an Asian dessert place opening, I was absolutely ecstatic. Icy Bar was definitely not a disappointment! Before this place opened, I often drove all the way to Richmond for some mango sago or a good tofu snack, but now I don't have to anymore! Icy Bar has one of the best shaved ice selections in town - they offer unlimited condensed milk with every shaved ice purchase! I love getting mango chunks, chia seeds, and black bean on my shaved ice. The only critique I have for this restaurant is that the shop always reeks of durian. The store offers many durian snacks which my durian-loving friends love, but me, being a person who hates durian, finds that the smell is very overpowering and that I often leave smelling strongly of it afterwards. It has always been busy when we visit but the service is quick and we always get a table within 10 minutes.

Food Adventure Time
Icy Bar seems like a good place to go for some cheap dessert. The $8 icy combo is enough to be shared with another person. With the variety of toppings available, there is truly something for everyone.
