Reviews:
I had an excellent dining experience today with our server, Ivy. She explained the ordering process clearly and provided an excellent customer service. All the staff were accommodating even though it was very busy! There’s also a server who slipped because my son spilled his apple juice, I hope she’s doing fine!!
Food wise, I loved their Hot stone grilled steak and my son loved their mango rolls! Highly recommended!!
This is the best "all you can eat" sushi place in the city. The fish tastes very fresh for being out here in Alberta. Also, they include a hot stone along with the cost. Service is fast and friendly and the value is really good. The only downside for me I suppose would be how loud the dining room is. I get that they want to be able to have as many customers as possible, with a higher turn over, but it's just a bit loud in my opinion. However it is definitely not a deterrent as the excellent food and service more than make up for it. Just make a reservation! They are usually so busy that if you just walk in you may have to wait more than an hour for a table
This place is a total win for me! Their tempura is what dreams are made of - light, crispy batter and perfectly cooked goodness inside. And let's not forget the sashimi - so fresh and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Beyond these two stars, the entire buffet was fantastic. Huge variety, amazing flavors, and beautiful presentation. Perfect for satisfying every craving and exploring all things Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend! #japanesefood #alleateyoucaneat #tempuraheaven #sashimilove #YegEats #Edmonton
Highly recommended Japanese food all-you-can-eat.
There are several All You Can Eat restaurants in downtown Edmonton. For those who live in North Edmonton, this is a must-try restaurant. As you can see in the photo, the fresh sashimi, sushi, and colorful rolls make for a very complete meal. Also, the miso soup that comes with it is so good that I had it twice. It's family-friendly, with plenty of options for kids and adults alike, and the hot plate veggies and meats are very appealing. The price of eating out has gone up a lot lately, but the quality of the food is well worth the price. I I highly recommend it.
Tip: First, due to the nature of all-you-can-eat restaurants, you have to put all your energy into your first order and forget about the second, because the relative satisfaction of the second food drops dramatically. The second tip is to avoid peak hours. As with all restaurants, peak times are busy and there are a lot of people waiting, which makes it hard to focus on the food. The best time to go is, as always, during opening hours.
It was super busy when we went, so be prepared to wait! The food is high quality for an all-you-can-eat spot, and it's worth the price. My family loved hot stone steak.
Amazing selection, quantity and quality of food and amazing servers and service. The price you can’t beat!! Any other sushi restaurant you pay almost $20/roll and this is all you can eat for around $40 each with free dessert to!! Will come again!!
The food is amazing and fresh.
The staff are friendly, helpful and fast.
The dining room itself leaves a bit to be desired, the privacy walls between tables but still having the occupants next to you bump you and push your table is a bit unbecoming. But totally worth it for the food!
"Sushi Toshi offers an exquisite culinary experience with its fresh and skillfully crafted sushi. The vibrant flavors and impeccable presentation showcase the chef's expertise. The variety on the menu caters to both traditional and adventurous palates. The restaurant's cozy ambiance adds to the overall dining pleasure. Attentive service and a commitment to quality make Sushi Toshi a standout choice for sushi enthusiasts."
Sushi Toshi unquestionably takes the crown for the best all-you-can-eat sushi in Edmonton. The remarkable variety, freshness, and reasonable prices make it a standout choice. I always get about 10 plates of beef tataki because it’s so good.
The sashimi was very good. Better than most all you can eat place. Food are
Pretty good, always packed with people and extremely busy. Fast service is pretty fast and accurate. Much better than Some places always misses items.
The staff was very helpful, accommodating, and looked like they were actually enjoying the job. We were a little late, but they did not make it an issue . The place was packed to the brim. The food selection was vast, exciting, palatable, visually appealing, and good quality.
We sat at the covered patio, and it was thoughtfully mounted with the heater in case one felt cold.
Parking was easy.
Will definitely visit again.
Highly recommend.
The food is just amazing. That's all I have to say. I don't want to make this a long complicated review. If you want to have good sushi, try it out for yourself!
Awesome place. Great all-you-can-eat and amazing price. Had group of 8 and did not disappoint. Service was one of the best, very on top of things. Very busy place, I can see why.
Recommended to place a reservation before you come here. I didn't have one and was told the wait would be over an hour and they would call us when there was a table available. The food tasted great and was fresh. I liked that they provided a separate book with pictures to explain what each menu item was. Everything came out really fast and the service was great. Will visit again when I come back to Edmonton!
The quality of the food was surprisingly high for a buffet. My only complaint about the food: the sushi rice was a little softer/wetter than I'm used to, but it was still enjoyable. The service was prompt and efficient. In terms of atmosphere, it's quite packed in the restaurant (tables and people), but I totally understand the reasoning.
We had such a fantastic time at Sushi Toshi! The food was good - the hot stone was the best (we got steak, mussels, and shrimp), and the chicken karaage was my second favourite. We got a ton of sashimi, nigiri, and rolls, and my favourite of that was the salmon sashimi. Personally, I felt that the sizes of the sushi pieces seemed pretty standard and like what you'd get at non-AYCE places. The sushi quality was okay, about what you'd expect for AYCE - I felt that the cooked foods were better.
Pop and ice cream at the end was included, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was super quick and multiple servers were always around if we needed anything. I'd go back for a special occasion! Definitely need to make a reservation, though - the restaurant was already packed when we arrived at 4 PM on a Saturday.
My wife is vegetarian and normally only gets access to very basic rolls at an All You Can Eat Sushi restaurant. However, we were pleasantly surprised how many thoughtfully crafted vegetarian dishes there were for her. Her favourite was called the "Golden Buddha". The sashimi I had was unbelievably fresh and delicious! Also, the service was super efficient and friendly; empty plates were taken away swiftly, and my pop was never empty. Thoroughly impressed, thank you for the great experience! Will definitely be coming here again!
A great location for all you can eat sushi! Do note they do have a strict 90 minute dining policy so plan and order accordingly! On most nights this resturaunt is packed and usually have a lineups out the door. I would very highly reccomend making a reservation to ensure you get a table! But once you get your order in it dosent take long for the trainof dishes to come out. The food is quite good considering its an all you can eat, thier fish is fresh and tasty which is a bonus! The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and kept makimg sure that everything was alright. Will be back!
We went there to celebrate a friends birthday and although we are from west side it is all worth it. The server is so kind and approachable. Always smiling. The food is sooooo soooo good. They don't have cakes but when we told them it's our friends birthday they gave cake and even sing happy birthday with almost their whole team and manager.
We are so gonna come back.
Definitely recommend to my friends.
I don't normally write reviews but my experience at sushi toshi yesterday was amazing. It was super busy but the service was really great. I recommend making a reservation before coming here because they are always packed. Shoutout to Stella for being so kind and helpful. She was delightful and was so attentive to my table's needs despite how busy the restaurant was. The food was great and the hot stone makes an interesting attraction to the restaurant. I would recommend this place to a friend and would definitely come back!
First all you can eat sushi in a long time. Though we booked a day in advance, this place can get very busy.
Super friendly staff and the waitress we had was super nice and helpful.
Def book a reservation even on a weekday if you want guaranteed Indoor seating. Have been twice and the service has been great and attentive. The food comes out fast! Other AYCE sushi places I’ve been to have been slow to bring out the food items so I made the mistake of ordering a lot do food the first round and ran out of table space. The second time we went, we split our choices over two orders
I can’t recommend this place enough. The servers are super nice and the food is to die for. You can probably order anything off the menu and be super happy with it! The food comes fast! The only “negative” thing is they are always packed, but that speaks for itself!
We have dined here multiple times. The most recent was today for a little get together with my co workers. We were served by Rosie and she was excellent. We had to give an extra tip to her on top of the automatic 18% for groups of 6 and above (we were 10) because Rosie was that good. She always made sure that we had everything we needed and she did it in a very professional and polite manner. All my co workers enjoyed the food and service here and they said they will definitely come back. Expect wait times when eating here but it's definitely worth the wait. There's a reason people line up outside even with our - 26 weather that we are having right now. The best eat all you can restaurant here in Edmonton.
I felt the sushi was pretty good, especially for an all you can eat establishment. It was crowded though, and kinda noisy. Very popular place though with a line up outside the door all night. Make sure to make reservations before going.
Sushi Toshi is one of THE best places to get all you can sushi in YEG! Everything was so delicious and fresh! The selection of sushi and food was vast! All their rolls were made with love and perfection! The steak was my favourite part personally, especially having to cook it on a hot stone was super fun! Cant believe I have been living so long without Sushi Toshi! Additionally service was amazing! From the hosts/hostesses to the servers, kind and attentive! Shoutout to Howard for being awesome! He’s such a great server and attentive and so kind!
Visiting from Vancouver. My boyfriend and I are very picky about sushi and this is one of our top sushi places we've ever been to. The sushi tasted really fresh and the staff were nice and brought the food out fast. We will definitely be going again
The sushi is fresh and delicious. The hot stone beef was an excellent choice l. The beef was tender.
The staff was wonderful and really helpful. I told them of my food allergies and they made sure all the food I ate was safe for me.
We spend 54$/each for a very good buffet on a Sunday night. They are busy as every buffet. The staff were friendly. I love the shrimp tempura, steak, alaskan sushi, beef tataki and many more! Will comeback soon ????????
Had a wonderful meal here last night! The service was perfect -- the food came out at a great pace, which was great to not have it all at once.
Joanne was our main server and she was attentive for drink refills and making sure we had a new order sheet when the current one was almost complete.
The food was of high quality, particularly the fish. I've had sushi in many places including Vancouver and Hawaii and Sushi Toshi was the best I can recall.
I was a bit worried about the quality of AYCE sushi and Japanese dishes. The quality was excellent and the service was exceptional. The team working to offer this service is huge and they seem to put their hearts into it. I will happily be back.
