The first thing I check when I go to a resto is the washroom. Their washroom is very clean seems like they clean it frequently. The staff is kind and was very nice to suggest what to order. And what she ordered for us didn’t frustrate us. The food taste good, they cook the lobsters Hong Kong style which I am familiar with. The siomai taste so good. The fried rice is excellent as well, it has a lot of flavours on it. Lastly the sticky rice with pork is awesome. We came at 8:30pm and they still accommodate us and extended their closing at 9:30pm, 30 minutes pass their closing. The ambience is very good seems like you are eating in a restaurant in Hong Kong or southeast Asia. Talking about the price of the entire meal, we paid $160 for 5 people & 1 kid and still have extra food to take home. Overall, I would visit this place when I come again.

Service was excellent provided by a nice lady and gentleman. Our plates were filled with lobster shell pieces and chicken feet bones and they switched out our plates for fresh clean ones, frequently filled our water glasses, and asked us if we ever needed anything else. They spoke Mandarin mainly but can communicate in English.
When you pay by cash, you will receive a 10% discount.
If I am ever at Niagara Falls again, I would come back for another visit!

The restaurant may be small, but it exudes a wonderfully cozy, homely atmosphere. Despite its size, it boasts an extensive menu featuring almost every classic dim sum dish you could desire. For a very reasonable price, you can indulge in a delightful self-service dim sum buffet experience.The food is delicious, and the owner and staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming.
Just had lunch here with family. The lobster was super delicious. I wish I can have this lobster every week! Lobster is fresh and alive from the water tank. The dish was not salty but very delicious. Highly recommended!
I’ve been considering Lobster Dimsum for some time now as I frequent in Niagara often, I don’t know what took us so long but I am ecstatic that I finally tried it this March Break! Food was delicious! I wish we came here sooner! My daughter and I got the Lobster dimsum Dinner for 2 (comes with 3 choices of dimsum) and we added a steam rice.

I'm not sure how this restaurant stays in business as it's a pretty obscure location and offers fresh right out of the tank lobster for a very reasonable price but so glad it's here. It kept coming up on yelp for good food in the Niagara Falls area so had to check this place out for dinner. The Hong Kong Style lobster is what all the reviews say - absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The breading isn't overpowering, perfectly flavors the sweet lobster meat. The lobster is cut in a way that it's not annoying to get the meat out as it just slides right out of the shell. I would eat this dish every day if I could. The dim sum was okay and we also ordered noodles which were pretty good. The other standout was lobster fried rice which has bits of roe in it and was an interesting green color from the lobster paste they use. This was at first a little different but really delicious as we ate it.
The servers, who I believe are the owners as they had their kid with them (who was super cute), were very kind and attentive. Really one of the best Chinese lobster dishes I had. Highly recommend.
Very friendly ownership, super accommodating; definitely makes the customers feel very welcomed and special. Prices are very fair. Ordered their lobster dinner L10 which includes 2lb lobster cooked the way you want (don’t know if there’s additional charges for different ways they cook it or extra weight), choose 3 dim sum and stir fried vegetable with garlic. Dim sum tasted pretty authentic, the Singapore Vermicelli was a bit bland. Hot and sour soup was on the sweeter side but owner was very kind to remake the soup. Overall food was good, service was excellent! Definitely recommend!
We stumbled across this newly opened family run-restaurant couple weeks ago when we went to see Niagara Falls and today has been our second visit already!
The staff is super friendly and the food is awesome! We tried $29 all you can eat and all those dim sum items are very delicious. My personal fav are steamed BBQ bun and spring dumpling. Fried Squid and some stir-fried Chinese dishes are also recommended which served at Wind and East IZAKAYA sushi restaurant as well. However, the all you can eat price has been changed to 40ish in those sushi restaurant. You can enjoy the same quality food at much affordable price here.
This is a gem in Niagara Falls indeed. The place looks unassuming from the outside, which is why I hesitated to try it for the longest time, but it turned out to be cozy and very nice inside. The food is delicious. They offer all you can eat dim sum, probably the only one in NF. Very authentic Chinese food. Highly recommended.
Years ago, I had a Chinese math professor in college who would tell stories or driving up (from Pennsylvania) to Niagara Falls each month to get lobster. I always respected him and knew that if I went to Niagara myself, I'd find lobster in his honor.
Hot Lobster Dim Sum is one of the best restaurants I have visited. I paid about $48 CAD for a whole lobster, prepared deliciously Hong Kong style (a new experience for me) which included ALL YOU CAN EAT dim sum. It was worth every cent and beyond. There are, of course, cheaper meals available.
The atmosphere is simple and unimposing, so I'll focus on the very friendly owner and staff and the wonderful food.
What a joy that the food is authentic. There are westernized options (chicken bowl, etc.), but I loved every bite of home-crafted shrimp and pork dumplings, pork buns, amazing hot herb tea (more than just average oolong), and even out of my comfort zone to order traditional chicken feet. Yep, even those were really yummy, as I figured out how to eat them. In all there are 24 options (wow) for all-you-can-eat items.
All-you-can-eat (within two hours) was totally true, even as I got one more item (sweet egg custard buns) after the check came. Those were a highlight! See the photo for the example – don't mind that I made a mess of the table eating my lobster, lol.
So good. I will be back here any and every time I return to the area. Please treat yourself to a meal and a memory, rewarding the wonderful owners with your patronage, at Hot Lobster Dim Sum.
The pictures do not justify the taste. Truly one of the best meals to have in Niagara Falls. Much much better compared the chain restaurants around Clifton Hill. Located around the suburbs, it's
quite easy to reach.
We ordered the Hong Kong style Lobster (3lbs), fried rice, stir fry beef, and 5 dim sum menu for $149. They all tasted great and delivered quite quickly. Portions were enough for 6 people. Much more reasonable compared to other spots in Niagara Falls.
Service was also quick and attentive. Overall, cannot wait to come back!
Food is great! Fresh lobster meat, worth the price! We tried salt and pepper spare ribs, lobster fried rice, beef with mixed vegetables! Come visit them if you are looking for a place to eat in Niagara Falls!
Saving tips: pay in Cash for 10% discount
Went there for dinner, and we chose the all you can eat dim sum. You can freely choose from D1-D31 in the menu for $35 all you can eat option. Need to wait a little bit for the first order to come out, but it's totally worth the wait - the food was really delicious! We tried 2/3 of the all you can eat dimsum menu, everything came in perfect portions, not too greasy and well seasoned. Personally, I'm impressed with fried pork dumpling, and especially fried squid tentacles! By the way, the decorations they put for the upcoming Lunar New Year were so lovely! Definitely will come back next time soon to try their lobster and other foods on the menu!

I don't want others to know about this place because it means it will be so popular, I don't be able to just come for down. Seriously, this place was amazing, the food was delicious, the staff super friendly. We loved it so much, we went back twice just because we knew it was beyond good. If you are in the area, check it out! You won't regret it.
Our perspective is of seasoned Asian offerings. This place provides the actual best lobster dish I've ever had - soft, crunchy, garlicky, buttery, heavenly. The siu mai was on par with the best, while this lobster set a new bar. 10/10, must return with family.
This place was very amazing! I don’t take time enough to give reviews, but had to do it this time..that’s how good this restaurant is. We had the ginger lobster (lobster is fresh from the tank) and omg, this was to die for! The xiu mai and pork bao was steamed fresh and hot from the kitchen, service was excellent, restaurant ambiance was nice and reminded me of being at home eating a home cooked delicious meal. The service was excellent. We’re coming back to eat again on our way back to the states. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Five stars all the way 👌
