Introduction of the restaurant:

I am ashamed to say I am a local and after 8 years in Victoria (Thanks to Groupon) I found this little place in downtown. Now, it is one of my favourite places. I have tried several dishes and not once I have left disappointed. All food is made from scratch with natural and organic ingredients. The fusion of Indian, Tibetan and even Chinese cuisine is a very unique concept. Service is always good and the price of the food is consistent with the quality. Don't forget to get a dessert. They are very unique!

We had dinner here a couple of weeks ago, and I don't remember the exact dishes that we ate. We thought everything was good, but nothing was exceptional. I thought that the olive oil in the salad that came with the momos was an odd flavour.

I have eaten here many times and have always come away happy. I usually order the momos and Sha-Palei but guests I am with have always been very happy with the various curries as well. I also like the fact I can order brown rice.

Amazing food (try the soup) and great service, Pemba and her team really make you feel at home!

It's easy to tell when the owners/chef/staff take pride in their business, and this was obvious in every facet of our experience here. Fantastic meal from start to finish, we ordered twice as much as we intended when arriving, severely overate, and were barely able to hobble home, but it was worth it.
Everything served was clearly house-made, fresh, perfectly prepared, featured quality ingredients & ultimately was super tasty. We had the feature dinners - appy, salad, entry, desert, and all were delicious, and this is coming from someone known to be a grade-A professional complainer - not the easiest dinner to please.
Comfy place too, great vibe. An instant new favorite.

The night we went in we were the only folks there. The owner chatted with us and was really nice, and when she came to take our order offered to cook us a little bit of everything, which is just what we wanted. We weren't disappointed. If you've never had Tibetan Cuisine before, it's like Nepalese, and quite like Northern Indian - curries, meat and spices. Definitely will go back.
