had takeout. The sushi is perfect... They were small tender pieces that are as fresh as they can possibly get... soooooo delicious I pretty much inhaled them. The soy sauce was in a separate box which threw me off because I was looking for the typical packets in the bag but they actually take time to pour the soy sauce out on their own in little plastic containers and put ginger and wasabi in a separate one and put all 3 little containers in a white box. They could easily just throw in some packets but they obviously pay a little more to make it more personalized. Even the bag the sushi came in was super cute and I can use it in the future. it was a custom made heart sushi environmental bag. The portions are really small but that's ok with me because I am also a small girl. I don't like when the nigiri has too thick of a rice bed anyway I like when the salmon is proportionate to the rice. So the sushi was amazing. As a young adult I can honestly say it's a tad overpriced for the quantity given, but then again it's a restaurant not just any random spot and I didn't dine in for the AYCE which would have probably made a difference. I didn't really order sushi anyway besides the 6 pieces of nigiri so my opinion maybe a tad invalid since my order did not consist of the main thing they are known for. I got spring rolls which were really delicious and cute. The white rice, chicken balls and miso soup were mediocre to me, but the spring rolls and sushi were bomb and the place is so cute! They really take time with their orders it's so special like they put cardboard at the bottom of the plastic bag to keep everything in place its just really cute. lol. You'll know what I mean if you get take out. I am now regretting not taking a picture. Anyways the place seems super fresh from the taste, look and quality of food. Next time I want to go there in person and also try the chicken fried rice!
