AMAAZING! the half roast duck was fulllll of flavor. The spare ribs, shrimp dumplings, shumai, steamed chicken feet, shrimp chives dumplings, beef chow fun with egg sauce and the service was theee best.

Went here for Chinese New Year on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. We got lucky in that several tables opened up right when we got there, so we had a short wait. It's a small place though -- I wouldn't try to go with more than 6 people. The dim sum was really good, just as you'd expect to get in Chinatown. Give it a try!

Amazing authentic Chinese. Big recommend to try the pork face with lotus root and also eggplant with minced pork. We wish we could take it home with us!

I like the variety of dim sums. There were many to choose from and they tasted good too! Big portion of their entrees. The food were really taste and affordable. Craving satisfied!

FRESH food, carts come around too, if you couldn't decide what you wanted, they'll show you. Service is really fast and they come around often, price is very very reasonable,
Tons of seating and tables for larger parties .
Restrooms are available.
Come before or after 12pm... the lunch crowd is no joke!

One of my favorite places for dim sum. I highly recommend getting there early enough to try the egg custard buns as they're so good!

Yummm!!
This was one of my favorite meals back home this time around. Mahalo, Bradduh Fran!!!!!
My family/friends always only go to happy days and I'm quite over that place. I wanted a new place and a new taste. Enter this little place. Pretty sure I've drove passed it several times before. Inside was even smaller. But we went late lunch so it was rather empty and I love it.
For starters: the lady try to give us all the things in the heat rack but I love steam stuff. We did try the Mochi balls and of course: 2 orders of egg tarts!
Food we had:
Shrimp Dumpling
Shrimp Dumpling with Chives
Steamed Seafood Bundle in Bean Curd ( Amazing)
Baked Egg Custard Tart,
Mochi Rice in Lotus Leaf,
Baked Egg Custard Tart
Fried Mochi Puff
Shanghai Fried Noodle!! The best!
Everything was delicious but I loved that seafood bundle in bean curd so much, we ordered it twice. Shanghai noodles was delicious too. So full I had paid my custard tart to go!
Loved everything!! Mahalo, Bradduh Fran! Wouldn't have discovered this place otherwise. Now I'm dreaming of the Seafood bundle! Yummmmmm.
Came back second time for bean curd and shrimp dumplings to go. It was a ok. Better dine in! She did give me free tea while I waited.

Parking: we found street parking right outside the shop. It was late around 230pm in a Saturday so it wasn't busy at all. There is other parking in the area right across and perpendicular to the restaurant entry on Beretania Street side to the underground parking lot. I am familiarized by the area because Char Sun Hut use to be across the street.:(
Service: As we walked in, we were instantly seated and was offered hot tea. The waitress also came by instantly with a tray to see what items we wanted. But because I wanted hot dim sum we put in an order from their dim dim list. We didn't wait long but after , 5-10 minutes after ordering we got our dishes. It was fresh!
Prices: I ordered from the smaller portion 4.95 and couple from the large 5.95. For a party of 5, we did a good amount of $85 excluding tax and tip. It was great prices for the same amount given from other dim sum establishments.
Dishes was reasonable for its price!
Overall: We were FULL and satisfied with the dishes ordered. Kids loved it!

Located in Chinatown on the corner of N Pauahi St and Smith St, the food here is good. Parking is located across the street or the underground parking. For the underground parking you can enter through Beretania St. Service is good as the staff pays attention to changing plates when eating seafood and refilling tea or water. Environment is clean. There are several round tables to accommodate parties of 4 or more. Recommended for good dim sum and Chinese food.

Service was excellent as the staff were easily available to ask for extra orders or condiments or water. The Dim Sum menu is not as extensive as some other restaurants in Honolulu, but what they had were very good. We had a birthday cake for our party that we brought in. They were very helpful in providing extra plates and cutting knives for the cake at the proper time.

What a fine! The food is absolutely yummy, portions are generous, and priced to get you coming back for more. I passed this restaurant by many times and finally went in and tried it. Definitely now one of my go to restaurants in Chinatown.

Went on a not so busy Saturday afternoon. Service was was decent.. like your typical Hawaii Chinese dim sum restaurant. The waitress was nice but you will most likely have to flag them down if you needed anything. The baked items were warm and the steamed items were hot. They will push a dim sum cart to you and you can find most of the popular items there. If you don't find what you like, you can put your order in with the waitress and they will freshly steam them for you. Prices are pretty reasonable here compared to other dim sum places. I would rate the food 4/5. Everything was good but some of the items just needed a little bit more flavor. We only had dim sum this time around but will definitely come back to try some of their rice and noodle dishes.

This was our 1st stop as we arrived. Food was delish and authentic! Service was great as well and everyone is friendly. When in Chinatown come eat at Ginger & Garlic.

Amazing dim sum ! The chicken feet are also some of the best I have ever had ! Highly recommend the bao!

We came here by Da Bus when we had an all-day pass. Chinatown in Hon was a spot for us to check out. We got hungry so this was my choice after checking Yelp out.
Greeted upon entry. A few ladies making dim sum at a table. One nice lady sat us and got us menus and water.
We ordered aroumd 7-8 dim sum dishes and 2 fish congees. All excellent. Congees were bangin'. We were one of only 3 tables dining but amazing how fast they got the orders out when it isn't one of those dim sum places with carts going around.
Great service. Good people working there. We spent a reasonable price for all. A definite + in the Honolulu Chinatown area.

We are so hungry and wasn't take many photos
We order Lobster stir fry with ginger & scallion, steam egg white with braised chicken and mushrooms gravy ( Must Try ) , the pan fry crispy noodles with chicken & veggies, bitter melon with salted egg yolk, morning gory vegetables, a lot a lot of dim sum and make sure to try the Chinese pastry , winter melon cake and red beans paste sesame ball these are are my favorites, however they have other egg tart , next time when we are in town again definitely will try their awards winning dish Crab with Bitter melon

Very good food & service and I love that they are open till late! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were pretty big. Definitely will be coming back.

Imo the best dim sum in Honolulu.
The only thing missing is foil wrapped chicken and stuffed mushrooms.

Great food. A little confusing to order if you're not familiar with the food names, but delicious taste.

Super authentic and delicious Cantonese food! We stumbled upon this place after going to the botanical garden and brought my super judgmental and picky Cantonese parents. They loved every dish we got. The food was very clean and not too oily. The owner was also very kind and honest, she recognized that we were from out of town and recommended the perfect amount of dishes for us instead of pushing us to order more. The interior/ambiance is no frills, but it's clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good, comforting Canto food!

This is my new fav dim sum place!!!
Walked in around 230pm and it wasnt crowded at all! There was maybe two parties left inside, and towards the end we were the only ones in there. We got greeted and seated immediately.
The worker came up to us right away with the tray of choices, but we didn't choose anything from it. We ordered from the menu and everything came out hot and fresh.
The shrimp & chives was one of the best I've ever had! It was packed and plump full of flavor, the xiao long bao came with a red wine vinegar sauce you could pour over it, and that was super super good the soup in it was nice and flavorful.
We got a bunch of things and everything was so delicious and flavorful. The worker was really nice surprisingly, sometimes I get nervous that they'll be a little harsh but we felt welcomed and enjoyed our meal.
I started eating before I remembered to take a picture.

One of the best places to eat Dim Sum for sure! Mahalo for staying open throughout covid! Nothing like treating your favorite peoples to the Dim Sum here!

We found this fantastic Chinese restaurant 3 years ago before Covid hit. We're so glad its still open serving delicious food! We will definitely be back next time we're in Honolulu!
