Took a chance, we're always looking for great Chinese food and Mr. Dumpling did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely phenomenal and we will be back soon, the only thing that we didn't care for is that the crab rangoons were super sweet and we don't like ours super sweet like that but to each there own some people like that. The orange chicken and dumplings were out of this world. Staff were friendly and attentive especially bc the place was packed!!!
Born and grew up from Sichuan, this is the best sichuan food in NC, no doubt. The fish is the must every time here.
We ordered takeout, and everyone finished everything. I and my child really enjoy the dishes here. Service is also very nice.

今天的油泼面惊艳到我了。面条端上来，就已经浓浓的蒜香味扑鼻而来。面条顺滑还特有劲道！干辣椒被油泼后激发出浓浓的香味。还有点小辣，配上一瓶酸爽清甜的酸梅汤，味道绝了!!!
Last evening we went to Mr. Dumpling for the first time. Without going into all the fluffy detail, I'll just say it was outstanding. I had the shrimp and cashew nuts and my wife had an order of dumplings which is an entree as you get 10. I was struck by the freshness in vegetables, large portions, and delicious flavor.
As we ate, we both noticed that many customers were also Asian which told us the local ethnics patronize the good restaurants.Whatever,it was still a great experience and we will be going back.
I came to Duke for a conference, and got recommended by red note. It is worth 30 min drive! The roasted fish is amazing, and the pork and bamboo is delicious. On average spent less than 30 dollars. Like it.

The dumplings are amazing so is the orange chicken. Definitely saving this location. By the taste you can tell that the food is prepared fresh.

Food was amazing, we ordered the assorted dumplings and some noodles, and they were delicious. The waiters were also nice and helped us pick a good meal. However, the tables were sorta messy, with some food on them. Otherwise great meal!!
Been there for dumplings several times. I can say if you want dumplings, go to this place. But i don’t have pictures for dumplings.

best restaurant in RTP area! Everything is good except dumplings! Yes, I know the restaurant name is Mr. Dumpling. But obviously, the chief is good at cooking rather than making dumplings!
I highly recommend Mr. Dumpling in Apex, especially for their lamb rib roast—it’s truly outstanding! If you’re a fan of spicy Sichuan cuisine, this is a must-try. I’ve also tried a similar dish at So Hot HotPot Restaurant in Cary, but I found the portion size to be smaller and the price less reasonable, so Mr. Dumpling remains my top pick for this dish.
For those interested in Sichuan grilled fish, Toyar’s BBQ & HOTPOT Restaurant offers a unique tomato grilled fish option. Both places have their strengths, so it really depends on your taste preferences. Overall, Mr. Dumpling is a great spot for authentic and flavorful Sichuan dishes. Highly recommended!
Ordered takeout for the first time and enjoyed our meal! The mixed dumplings were very good and worth the slight up charge for them to be pan fried. The sesame chicken was also very good and sweet but not overly sweet. The fried rice was tasty!

If you are looking for true taste of Sichuan .this restaurant definitely deliver it. The flavors are bold, authentic, and satisfyingly spicy, just as Sichuan cuisine should be. They have some special dishes for the festival going on till 11/16. One of my favorite is steamed snakehead fish in sichuan source. rich in flavor with a perfect balance of spice and numbing Sichuan peppercorns.

Traditional delicious Szechuan food. Highly recommend if you like spicy food or dumplings.
