3rd time visited Santa Rosa's Boiling Bowl during Labor Day long weekend today, and loved it again. Food was great, as usual, the fried calamari, the spicy garlic beef, the BBQ pork (叉燒), the prawn chow fun (huge prawns!), and we also had the chef-special Chinese long melon with clams, all were delicious! Service was quick, very nice and attentive. Five Star all-around on the food, the service, and the restaurant, with easy free parking right in front of the restaurant. Will visit soon again, all the way from Millbrae/San Francisco!

My family and I tried this spot on a whim and we couldn't be happier we did. The food was delicious and everything was so well prepared. They have a large menu with many authentic cuisine options. I will definitely be coming here again!

湾区family来Santa Rosa游玩的超级超级推荐这家来吃。既可以吃到正宗的川菜，也可以吃到暖胃的清淡菜。我们家两岁半宝宝，女老板人很好，专门开小灶做了菜单上没有的鸡汤面。做的很细心，鸡肉很嫩，里面放了很多菜，面也煮的很软，可惜忘了拍照。大人这块很惊艳，老板爽快的让我们开发出了隐藏菜单 - 水煮牛肉！厨师是四川人，讲真这个水煮牛肉超过所有美国中餐那种流水线水煮肉。看看照片，你就知道这是四川师傅自己在家做的那种。我觉得应该可以开发出很多隐藏菜单。另外还推荐了一道清蒸鱼，虽然是龙利鱼片，但是味道非常清新，厨师用料和火候都很到位。老板娘人真的非常nice，会经常过来寒暄一下，check我们需要什么不。老板娘还送了一壶她秘制的水蜜桃铁观音茶，很香！这个茶不是免费也值得点！我们来吃了两顿，第一顿不知道点的都是老美餐（服务员是Burmese小哥讲英文），第二顿跟老板娘亲自聊，开发出隐藏菜单吃的很爽。推荐湾区来的family来这里解决一顿完美的中餐！
Our usual favorite was closed so we decided to try Boiling Bowl for takeout. I will say the online ordering option is great and user friendly. Pretty quick turnaround and easy to find. Nice and clean inside. Staff is friendly and attentive. Got the egg rolls, veggie fried rice, veggie chow fun with extra garlic, and Kung pao tofu. Egg Rolls were ok but jam packed with overshredded cabbage? And not a whole lot of anything else. The rice was a bit undercooked but had some good flavor. Chow fun was the best in the bunch. Good flavor and perfectly cooked noodles. Tofu was not bad- a little bland and not spicy at all. Prices are reasonable and portions are hefty. Recommend, however be very specific on how you like your food cooked.
The portions are large and the flavor is astounding. Their hot and sour soup is one of the best. Been coming here for ages.One of my favs when I want to go out to eat.
I love this place, the food is so good with big quantities of food for a good price. The workers and the manager are really nice people, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and they gave me a great discount! I hope their bussness keeps thriving.
This place was really good and the staff was really friendly. We got the sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, potstickers and a beef hot pot and everything was really delicious! The potstickers were huge and seemed handmade, the sweet and sour tasted great and u got a good amount of chicken and the fried rice was my favorite! My boyfriend said the hot pot was really good and it’s a decent size fire the price.

Since discovering the Boiling Bowl restaurant my partner and I have returned for dinner 5 times inside of 6 weeks. Why return so many times? Because the food is so good! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is so kind and friendly.

We’ve dined at Boiling Bowl before, so when we found ourselves in Santa Rosa looking for dinner, we knew exactly where we wanted to go. Once again, the food was delicious and authentic—every dish was flavorful and satisfying. We ordered five dishes; one didn’t quite match the description, but the server promptly and politely corrected it, which we really appreciated.
One of the highlights for our family is that Boiling Bowl offers boba tea. Even better, they were happy to split one into two smaller cups for our kids—such a thoughtful and accommodating touch.
The ambiance is simple and unpretentious. While a few decorations on the walls might give the space a bit more warmth, it’s clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I love that their round tables have the turntable.
A final detail that really stood out: as we were getting into our car, the waiter came running out with the leftovers we had accidentally left behind. That level of attentiveness and care speaks volumes about the service. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Santa Rosa.

We had potstickers, orange chicken and house special fried rice. It was all excellent, some of the best I’ve had in awhile. The food came quickly but it took a long time to get our check and pay.
Good food and portions at reasonable prices. Remodeled inside very clean. Cozy dining area to sit in, clear area for pick up.
Very surprised this place has authentic Chinese cuisine. I ordered beef chow fun, fried green beans and seafood hotpot last night, 干炒牛河粉，干煸四季豆角，非常地道， very authentic which I haven’t tasted for years…strong recommend this place; the service is great, we paid by card but forgot to take it back, the young server even chased to the parking lot returned to us… so we came back for lunch in the very next day. Great food and awesome service.
The Lobster Hot Pot was sensational. Filled with lobster, clams, prawns, mushrooms in a tasty, rich broth. Service was excellent, Can't wait to go back.

Had an amazing experience at Boiling Bowl in Rincon Valley! The restaurant has a sleek, modern vibe and a mellow ambience that makes it a great spot to unwind. The service was quick and spot-on, which made the whole visit even better.
We tried the beef pot with no spice (pro tip: specify "none" if you’re not into heat), and it was fantastic—loaded with clams, beef, mussels, corn, and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious and satisfying. The pork shumai was a standout too—large, dense, and packed with flavor, though heads-up, it takes about 15 minutes to prepare, so plan accordingly. The bao buns were pillow-soft and delightful, and the egg rolls? Crispy with perfect flavor. All the sauces we tried were excellent, complementing every dish beautifully.
Only minor note: they don’t have decaf tea, just green tea, so keep that in mind if that’s your preference. Overall, everything we ordered was a hit, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. If you’re in Rincon Valley, this place is a must-try!

Wow! I was very happy to discover that this place is just as good as the ratings suggest. We ordered Lamb Hot Pot with two appetizers, and every bite was an absolute delight to eat.
They warned us that the suimai would take a bit longer (15 mins), but the wait was well worth it, as it was some of the best dimsum I've ever eaten. The texture of the green onion pancake was ideal, with an oily, crunchy crust.
We ordered a medium spicy lamb hot pot, and it had some heat but not especially spicy for us. The portion size was more than 2 of us could eat, and filled with plenty of delicious seafood and lamb.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied. We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu next time!
Got house special fried rice, potstickers, and crab rangoons to-go. Amazing flavors and not badly priced!
