Very authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum.
Best dim sum in Houston!
Amazing food and the service was so friendly. This is our family’s favorite dim sum place!
Dishes from my favorite Dimsum restaurant. I’ve been patronizing this place for quite some time. Food is always consistent. Service is wonderful.
Delicious and so affordable. Monica was a great help to our table of seven on Sunday.
Great place for classic dim sum. Very busy on weekends but they move fast. Was seated within 10 minutes at this busy hour. Great for small groups of people or even for an event.
When in Houston, this is one of my go to places for dim sum. The food is always fresh, and you can order what you want straight from the menu. No, you don’t get the “cart service” but that’s more for show to me. Love this place.
I had such a great experience at Golden Dim Sum! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and authentic. The restaurant was very clean and well kept, and I really loved the traditional Chinese atmosphere and décor. It gives the restaurant a unique, authentic feeling that makes the whole dining experience even better.
The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can tell they put care into the food, and there were so many different options to choose from. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were great too. This is definitely the kind of place where you want to order a bunch of different dishes for the table and try a little bit of everything.
The service was also excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without making us feel rushed. Our table stayed clean, the food came out smoothly, and the entire experience was comfortable from beginning to end.
Overall, everything was great—the food, cleanliness, service, and atmosphere. If you’re looking for authentic dim sum and Chinese food in Houston, especially around Bellaire, I definitely recommend giving Golden Dim Sum a try. It was a really enjoyable experience, and I will absolutely be coming back again.
Great food. I love it.
Came here with my friend for the dim sum happy hour and it was such a good experience! We ordered the sampler, so we got to try a lot of different dishes, and everything we had was fresh and came out hot. My favorites were definitely the shrimp ha gao and the shrimp + pork shumai. They were both really flavorful and dishes I’d order again. The BBQ buns were also really soft and delicious. The service was amazing too. Everyone was friendly, checked on us throughout our meal, and gave us recommendations on what to try. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for good dim sum in Houston!!
Walked into a mahjong happy hour and had a great time!! Food was delicious, I got a lot of dim sum plates with my friend due to the sampler and we enjoyed it (the pan fried rice roll and bbq bun in the pictures were my favorite). The service was top tier, always checking in on our table and recommending dishes to try. Best dim sum in Houston!!
Don't know where to start. This place was so good. Authentic. Fried rice was fire! Everything was so good.
Amazing food.
Amazing food! Friendly staff! This place is a hidden gem. I will be back!
The food tastes great! The portions are large enough to share. The service is awesome! Will definitely eat there soon.
Okay it's a bit of a dive but the food and friendly staff ate best in Chinatown.
Food was delicious, service was quick, and staff were friendly! Great place to eat for a quick meal, or a get-together, feels very homey. Would recommend!
The food was amazing especially the chicken feet and xo rolls. Their lunch menu is very affordable and comes with a lot, so I’d definitely recommend coming during lunch. It’s a great spot to go and catch up with some friends or family and just interact while eating. Will definitely be going back for some amazing dim sum!
Decided to try something new and I was satisfied! They have a variety of food options to choose from. All the food was flavorful. I'm glad I got to try it out.
Genuinely some of the best dim sum i've ever had and truly a hidden gem !!! this is THE spot for food which came very well portioned and SUPER flavorful, food came out relatively quickly and super fresh and the service was amazing !! 10/10 the atmosphere was really peaceful and everyone was friendly it made us feel like we were right at home, i recommend EVERYONE to try this place with friends and family, definitely coming back soon !!
The experience was great. Food was warm and everything was served on time. Not a lot of people when I came which is a shame because this place should be packed. I highly recommend if you want to pick a spot with friends.
My god the rice noodle roll with the XO sauce is crazy good. Kinda crisp and charred on the outside with a great chew. The shu mai, taro cakes, crispy pork dumplings, crab finger puff, greens, everything was just. Love getting dim sum here!
Hands down one of the best dim sum spots in Houston.
but make sure you follow through and check out this place. Every dish was so tasteful and so fresh. What a hidden gem, I drove past it and then had to turn around - you can easily miss it, but make sure you follow through and check out this place. Every dish was so tasteful and so fresh.
Great place with great food. Good to sit and have a chat with loved ones. We had Dim Sum and it was amazing.
Decent dim sum.
Dim sum all the food was delicious as in you won’t be disappointed!
XO sauce rice cakes are amazing but golden dimsum is definitely known for their stir fry noodle dishes. Love their beef chow fun.
Still, the food is delicious but the Customer Service is still lacking. There was four in our party, and again, luckly I reviewed the charges and again the waitresses added an 18 percent tip. Customer beware but I recommend this place because the food is very excellent and delicious.
I loved all the dim sum!
