Reviews:
I think I have written a review probably two times in my life; this will be my third. I want to start with the ambiance of the restaurant; it is cozy, warm, and small, but it feels very homey I loved it. I immediately felt welcomed and knew the food would be delicious. I went with my boyfriend, and we decided to start the night with drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Lychee Martini, and he had the Samurai Apple. Both of these drinks were delightful; his had whiskey, and I don¡¯t like whiskey, but I couldn¡¯t even taste it here, the flavors were well-balanced. Mine tasted like I was biting a strawberry and lychee at the same time, and the alcohol came in at the end. I loved it I could drink 4 of these easily. For food, we decided to order the Potsticker Flight because it comes with all of the Potsticker filling options and their 4 sauces. It also comes with either a salad or entree, and we decided to have the miso chicken. HOLY CRAP. I have been alive for 28 years, and I have had a crap ton of potstickers in my life; these BY FAR were the best ones ever. All four sauces complimented each of the potstickers beautifully. The potstickers themselves were perfectly cooked, the flavoring was delicious, and overall, I just had no complaints. The miso chicken was DELICIOUS. It also came with a side of steamed white rice, and I am looking forward to having it for lunch tomorrow. Truly so good, and the portions are very generous. To end the night, we had the green tea cheesecake with a ginger glaze on top, and WOOOOOW. I am not the biggest fan of cheesecake or green tea, and I wish the crust of the cheesecake was a little bit crunchy, BUT it doesn¡¯t matter because I would eat an entire one of those cheesecakes alone. It was so so good, especially the ginger glaze I was hesitant when the waitress told us about it, but it was a beautiful pairing. Obviously, this place was a hit for both of us, and I would recommend it to everyone (I already told four people about it). If I could rate it 1000/10 I would. OH!! We also ordered 24 frozen potstickers that we will be having later on, which we are very excited to have. There was also a sign inside for their lunch special that is $13 for an entree meal (it includes a drink as well and a salad/soup, but double check) anyways, I am from California, so the fact that you can get an entire meal, that is delicious for $13 is a win.
Basically, you need the food of this restaurant in your stomach and you¡¯re welcome in advance.
Many different flavors of both potstickers and dipping sauces all fresh and favorable . They also have apps and main dish with unique flavors. Custom cocktails were wonderful.
Quaint, cute, music not so loud you can¡¯t hear your companions, nicely decorated, but it¡¯s the food that really knocks it out of the park. We¡¯ve been looking for a place to frequent since Ngon closed, the vibe is different, but the food is even better. We had the egg drop soup, which was extremely flavorful, a pork stir fry, potstickers, and chicken wings, and they all were delicious. We will be back soon!
Loved this little neighborhood restaurant. It's cozy but not overwhelming. We thought that although there are only a few veggie options, they are delicious and worth the visit. Staff was attentive and helpful in explaining the menu. We will definitely be returning whenever we have family visiting. The scallion pancakes were a stand out and I definitely recommend them to share.
This is an incredible little neighborhood spot with great food. We¡¯ll be back!
Amazing food and drinks. Wonderful service. We had the potsticker tour for two and loved it!
Stopped just now because we were hungry and happened to be driving by. What a lucky stop! The food is really good!! I could live on the cucumber appetizer with grandmother sauce. They are a must order item if you go!
I ordered the shrimp and Angus beef potstickers and also a surf and turf fried rice for takeout because I'm new to the area. It is delicious!! The fried rice i ordered without peas (not sure if they put them in there or not) but did not see ingredients on the menu. The POTSTICKERS OMG, Divine!! So delicious and I wanted to give an immediate thank you for satisfying my taste buds. I'm looking forward to my next order. For tonight I have dinner and lunch tomorrow£¬thank you again!!
Quaint little Restaurant on Randolph in St.Paul-Great Server & Food.
Was amazing. Get the 2 of each one. I only didn't care for one of them. Dont remeber which one. The rest were amazing. Great sauces, too.
Excellent food and amazing service! Enjoyed the potsticker for two meal with the ribeye noodles for the entree, with my husband, great portion for 2 and every item was delicious and left you guessing what the next experience was going to be!!! If you get the opportunity, don't miss this place!!
It was an amazing dining experience. A huge surprise from the chick and simple decoration that got to a second plane because of the amazing combination of flavors. For sure will be visiting again soon.
Ribeye Noodles and Potstickers Tour for Two was the perfect meal for three hungry girls!! Reasonably priced too, can¡¯t wait to come back, best potstickers I¡¯ve ever had. Staff was friendly as well and it¡¯s a clean place.
Awesome! The pork belly fried rice had a very generous amount of pork belly. Can't wait to go back.
First time here, really enjoyed it! Potstickers were yummy - go with the sesame basil sauce option! The ribeye noodles and pork belly rice were quite good, really large portions here. I read that in other reviews but didn¡¯t take it seriously, it¡¯s true. Could use a few more items on the menu but great overall. Our server was super helpful and welcoming.
Great place! Excellent food and a good interior! For a newer restaurant they have done a good job getting on their feet and getting down to business.
Super fresh and great portion sizes! Loved the special that had 3 potstickers and a generous portion of fried rice.
The food was wonderful and serve was great!
I don't know how else to put this other than this is the best fried rice I've ever had. Full stop.
this place is a true gem. We eat there like twice a week. The food is amazing, the dining area is pretty and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly nice.
Visiting this restaurant was as a result of asking Google what was nearby. We'd never heard of Potsticker before. It was destiny that we found it.
We ordered The Potsticker Tour for Two. The Tour is all potstickers and sauces. We also got the Pork Belly Fried Rice. The potstickers and sauce were all delicious. Each combination with the sauces were such a delight. I cannot say which were my favorites.
Even with all of these wonderful dumplings and sauces, the star of the show, was the fried rice. THIS WAS THE BEST FRIED RICE, EVER!!!!!!!!! I do not type in all caps lightly. Everything about this fried rice was exactly what fried rice should be. It didn't need sauce or anything. The flavors are deep and balance. The pork belly has the fat rendered so that it melts into your mouth.
On top of the fabulous food, the service was top notch. Our server left us to glut on the food and approached at the perfect time to refill water and to ask if we needed anything more.
We will be back.
Potsticker is a hidden gem I've been passing almost every day without recognizing it! After an extraordinary experience at a dumpling restaurant out of state, I was on a mission to find something similar in MN. After browsing Yelp, I settled on taking my boyfriend to Potsticker for his birthday.
We arrived and were seated inside immediately. The place is small, and I would describe it as intimate or cozy. We ordered drinks to start, and our server came over to explain the ordering process for the Potstickers. Ultimately, we ended up ordering Cilantro Pork, Shrimp/Beef/Chives, and the Curry Chicken Potstickers. We also ordered the Surf and Turf Fried Rice and some Korean Wings to accompany our main dishes.
The tastes associated with the Potstickers are subjective (we both loved them), but the quality is objectively great. The wings were a bit sweet to me which isn't my personal preference, but I'd still recommend them as I believe they were well prepared. I could eat fried rice 24/7 so I might be biased, but it was great, and I'd love to try the pork belly option. Potsticker nailed everything from ambiance, to service, to food. Overall, I'm thrilled to have found the cutest little date spot close to home!
Rarely do I walk out of a restaurant feeling blissful! Tonight I did. And that's the story! The food is good!
In town for a wedding. First time in Minnesota. Was looking for the perfect lunch date and we found it. Read the reviews and they did not disappoint. Started with the Korean Fried Wings. Did the potstickers duet with cilantro pork and beef, shrimp and chives. Sauces tried were teriyaki, classic and Sesame Street. Also had the pork belly fried rice. Every bite was relished! Plenty of food for 2. Too full for dessert. Chose water only. So much flavor packed into their food. I have no reason to return to this state but this restaurant is one of them. Oh, the pickled radishes in the fried rice were a treat. The slight sweetness and crunch really complimented the pork. I can't remember our servers name but he was attentive and kind. Food came out much quicker than anticipated.
Excellent food. Very small and drafty in the winter, but great food and service. Love the sampler.
This place is incredible. We've been eating here twice a week since we found it. The potstickers and the scallion pancakes are particularly mind-blowing. So, so, so glad to have them in the neighborhood.
Absolutely phenomenal experience- highly recommend the flight/tour of Potstickers. We also ordered the sweet & sour pork and surf & turf fried rice. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable and street parking was easy.
The pork dill and pork cilantro potstickers were a favorite. The carrot ginger dipping sauce was amazing.
Can't say enough good things. Looking forward to returning.
Very fun, cozy neighborhood spot. Really enjoyed the food and cocktails. Service was friendly and did not hurry us out the door. The appetizers were fun and tasty, and an order of potstickers was sufficient for a full meal for me.
Great take-out! My partner and I split a full sized salad, potstickers, and one of the large entrees and it was more than enough food! Everything was wonderful - the tofu potstickers were the highlight, but the ginger miso chicken was excellent as well! Cute little place to dine in (or on the patio) in the future for us!
On our way home from MSP Airport, we decided to stop by Potstickers for lunch, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Potsticker Duet, which consisted of the Cilantro chicken and the Tofu, Mushroom, and Kale potstickers. We paired them with the Classic dipping sauce and the Old Godmother Hot Sauce.
Both varieties of potstickers were absolutely fantastic and tasted incredibly fresh. The Cilantro chicken potstickers had a delightful blend of flavors, and the Tofu, Mushroom, and Kale potstickers were packed with a rich and earthy taste. The Old Godmother Hot Sauce added an extra kick to the potstickers and was incredibly delicious. However, I found the Classic dipping sauce to be a bit too vinegary for my liking, as the rice vinegar flavor was a bit overpowering.
In addition to the potstickers, I also tried the Vegan Stir Fry, which was an absolute standout. The dish featured a combination of shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, onion, tofu, bean sprouts, green beans, and eggplant. Every bite was packed with an explosion of flavors and the dish was incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend trying the Vegan Stir Fry if you visit Potstickers.
The restaurant itself may be small, but it is well laid out and offers outdoor seating options. There is ample parking available in the neighborhood, making it convenient for diners. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our visit.
Overall, I highly recommend Potstickers for its delicious and fresh potstickers, as well as its flavorful Vegan Stir Fry. I will definitely be returning to try out other varieties of potstickers on their menu.
