Wonderful Service and food. Authentic chinese noodle. Lamb soup is so good.One hundred percent Recommend.
The pompano was really yummy and everyone loved the lemongrass chicken we also got bun thit which was better than other places in town. Service is always wholesome family friendly everyone had a great time. Love Juwani and her family the new place feels way more down to earth you can see the cooks in the kitchen and interact with them. Can't say enough this is one of my favorite places my mom aunt and uncle were impressed we will be returning.
My wife & I comes here once or twice a month sometimes every week specially during cold days and always order the same Beef noodle soup 'knife cut'. Beef chunks that are so tender and juicy with broth to die for!!! We come in and most of the times we do not even need to tell them our orders because they know us already. We've been coming here since they changed name from noodle boy. the 'lady' sometimes gives us other food or appetizers to try. what a great service !!! We are coming back for more. thank you!!!

Best mutton noodle soup I've ever had. Will be coming back weekly. Get it you won't be disappointed!
The beef noodle soup tastes sooo good. Noodles were yummy, soup was flavorful, and beef had a good proportion of meat vs fat. Also got pork dumplings, which I devoured. Came with a group of 13. Food came out at different times but came out quickly for the most part. Staff was pretty nice and accommodating with us.
This is the recipe of my order. First of all, the cashier who doesn't want give me the receipt for this time. I was asked to give me and then she gave me Unpaid tickets. I want the tickets that show paid. She was like oh I can print it. It's that so difficult? I said. Then she gave me the paid receipt.
This restaurant is clean and tidy, and the spacing between tables is very thoughtful (completely unlike some places where people are sitting back-to-back). The knife-cut noodles are all delicious, no matter what you order. The meat sandwich is a must-try (the pork is juicy and flavorful, and the beef is finely prepared and refreshing). The service attitude is warm and attentive. Parking is also very convenient. Highly recommended. Whenever our family can't decide where to eat, it's our default place.
Been here twice by now and enjoyed everything I've ordered! I really like their pork rougamo (Chinese burger), the dumplings, the knife cut & hand-pulling noodles. The cabbage is good but super greasy to a point that it upset my stomach, but I'll still order it again! Just be prepared for the grease...
I came here plenty of times, all their dishes are delicious especially the fried noodles (very chewy and not too salty). The roujiamo (hamburger) has a thicker bread than other places but I actually like it this way so I dont get overwhelmed by the meat. Sadly, they rarely have the pig's feet though and hotpot must be ordered ahead of time. The service is fast and friendly. I never have to wait for a long time and water is self-serve. There are plenty of tables and it can get crowded weekend nights. But everything is great!
Came for lunch and this plaza gets packed on a weekend. It took us a while to find parking. At the restaurant, you seat yourself. They have water cups for you get get yourself as well. Service was quick and the staff was friendly.
We tried several dishes:
- Knife Cut Noodles with Beef ($12.99): decent portion with a few pieces of beef. The noodles were chewy and flavorful. The beef was kind of hard to chew but not too bad. There are also some pieces of onions and green peppers. (5/5)
- Rougamo Pork ($5.99): like a crispy sandwich with seasoned pulled pork inside. It's cut into two pieces. (4/5)
- Shanxi Stir Fried Pork ($12.99): pork was tender and seasoned well. Came with some vegetables like black fungus and onions. It would've tasted even better with some rice. (4/5)
Definitely recommend for an affordable meal with good portions. You get the food fast and you're in and out pretty quickly.
One of the very few authentic and delicious noodle places in SGV. They also offer seasonal dishes including hotpot and other iconic dishes including various noodle dish. Decent priced and fast service one of my go-to for noodles.
My girlfriend and I wanted to try a new place to eat, specifically Asian noodles. We found this place via yelp and decided to give it a try. The inside is clean and very welcoming. Our server didn't speak very much English but was able to use her phone to translate our questions.
Wow! The food was amazing. A lot of the reviews said to try the stir fry cabbage and we did. It was the first dish to arrive and delicious!
Next our lamb and pork/leek dumplings came. I enjoyed both but have had dumplings else where I prefer more.
We also got the house special fried noodles, hand-pulling long noodle with beef. The flavors were delicious. They really mean hand pulling long when it comes to their noodles. That provided an extra amount of effort while eating but the experience was fun.
We also got the lamb organ noodle soup again with the hand pulling long noodle. Soup and long noodles....again that required some effort but tasty. I've had lamb noodles from another place a prefer more but overall really good.
Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. I would recommend and come here again!
I've been a regular at this place ever since I stumbled across it a few months ago. I'm not positive, but I believe the food here is from the Shanxi, China region and they're known for their handmade noodles. My absolute favorite is the knife cut wife's special; it's a saucy minced meat dry noodle. I have also had their stir fried cat ear and lamb organ long noodle. The shredded potato with hot pepper and stir fried cabbage are also a must have. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
The servers are very friendly and will give you recommendations, however they speak limited English. Definitely recommend this authentic hole in the wall if you are looking to try something new!

Really good service. Absolutely delicious food. Beef noodles + Beef dumplings + Beef burger = easily two meals worth of food.
Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.
My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.
Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.
There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.
If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff
If you can't make it back to Shanxi, China, this is the next closest thing in SGV!
I had been craving handmade noodles all week, so I came in here today for lunch and ordered the knife cut noodles mixed with tomato sauce and cucumbers.
They also had black fungus, which filled me up quickly. You can grab a plate, then load it up with veggies at the buffet bar.
I decided to be a pig and get the beef dumplings as well, since I was fasting.
I really appreciated the handmade dishes.
Would come back and try other stuff!
