Came here for a Cantonese seafood dinner and we ordered a full table. The live lobster was delicious, and the Golden Award roasted squab was the standout: crispy skin and really tender meat.
We also got the walnut shrimp in special sauce, Cantonese crispy pork with pineapple, Yangzhou fried rice, tamago tofu with seafood and vegetables, and stir-fried pea shoots. Plenty of variety, and it's a great place to go with a group and share a bunch of dishes.
Oriental Pearl recently renovated and the restaurant looks so nice! The dining room feels bright, clean, and spacious -- definitely a great spot for dim sum with family or a big group.
We ordered a whole feast! The lobster was one of my favorites -- flavorful, meaty, and great for sharing. We also had siu mai, rice noodle rolls, chicken feet, sesame balls, egg tarts, noodles, and Chinese greens. Everything gave me that classic Cantonese dim sum experience I was craving.
Yelp tip: Dim sum ends at 3 PM, and starting at 2:30 PM, the remaining dim sum is buy 1, get 1 FREE! We came around that time and it was such a good deal.
If you're looking for Cantonese food and dim sum around Chamblee/Atlanta Chinatown, Oriental Pearl is definitely worth checking out. Come hungry and bring people to share with!
Food and service was great today! This is the first time I been back since the soft opening, and everything was fresh and hot. No wait on Saturday at noon. The carts kept coming hot and fresh. The place is family friendly and has tables to fit large groups as well. I'm putting this on top of my Dim Sum list since I haven't had great experiences at the new places in Duluth.
I used to go to the Oriental Pearl for their weekend dim sum. Always spot on. But when they closed, I was very disappointed. How could we lose such a consistent Cantonese dining spot? One night recently, I was headed out to find something unique to eat. I had to go right past the Oriental Pearl, and their parking lot was full. So I found a place, parked and went inside. I almost lost my mind. They had changed owners and completed a year-long renovation, which yielded a very beautiful result. They had replaced everything . New chairs which were very comfortable, all new plates, napkins, serving pieces, a new design and they up graded their menu. Their prices have increased but hasn't every restaurant had to do that to survive? It was brightly lit, and the new owners installed a huge TV at one end which advertised weekly specials and complete dinners for the whole family or even for a large group..The choices they had made for the overall impression were outstanding. To be honest, I didn't know what some items offered on the menu were, but the menu seemed more authentic than it used to be.
I was very happy I found the new and improved Oriental Pearl.

This place is absolutely fantastic. We used to drive all the way to Duluth for good dim sum, but not anymore. The restaurant is spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming.
We ordered almost everything on the dim sum carts, and truly enjoyed every single dish. The seasoning was spot?on--flavorful without relying on excess salt--and many plates had thoughtful touches that elevated them even more.
We also tried a few items from the menu. The jellyfish was excellent with the addition of daikon and carrots, and the hot and sour soup was wonderfully balanced.
We will definitely be back.

i LOVE the Dim sum here... Its so New York style... i have never had a bad meal here, the service can get slow , but the feel of the dining room brings me back to having Dim SUM in NYC and Empress pavillion in Los Angeles in my youth ...the Shu Mai and Bao among the best in the USA
I am so happy this restaurant is open again after a long period of being closed for remodeling. The improvements are wonderful and on par with the quality of food found here. This is Chinese food- not the junk you find in a mall. Authentic food. Served by people who are proud of the work the kitchen consistently has put out for years. Highly recommended.

Great dim sum place in old Chinatown. It was super busy on a Saturday for lunch. You will have to wait a bit but it is the best time to go bc there are so many dishes and everything is fresh. Go with a larger group...it is great for sharing.
My favorites are the taro and pork, shrimp shumai, Chinese broccoli, and fried gyoza....but there are a lot of great dishes!

Made the trip from Chattanooga to get my dim sum fix, and Oriental Pearl did not disappoint! Hot, fresh, and wide variety of Cantonese culinary delights!
Best dim sum experience I've had in GA. Not a large large dinning room but very impressive space. Serving staff was on point and very friendly. Food was amazing, we hit the dim sum heavy (tarro and shrimp dumpling was the winner) so didn't try much of the main menu. Will 100% be back, it's about an hour drive for us and worth it.
The restaurant was extremely authentic. The owner and our servers went out of their way to make us feel so at home and welcomed. I would definitely go back again. My favorite two items were the lamb and the eggplant. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the deep-fried softshell crab.

We came as a family (kids 2, 4, 9, and 11!) and everyone cleaned their plates Favorites were the Peking duck, garlic-marinated oysters, walnut shrimp, and lobster fried rice 〞 soup was great too. You could really tell the seafood was fresh, not frozen. Staff were so kind the whole time. Definitely coming back for lunch to try the dim sum!
I loved this place. I can be pretty picky about my seafood. And their walnut shrimp might just have been my all time favorite shrimp ever. The staff was superb and were very helpful and just fun people.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in America. You all got to try this it's better than some of the one in New York City Chinatown.
Here due to missed flight, ubered from airport 30 min to here on Monday morning. Service extremely fast and good food quality. Would definitely come back!

Recently renovated and looking great! The food at Fulinmen Seafood Restaurant was excellent. The Lobster Fruit Salad was fresh and refreshing, and the special Silkie Chicken Soup was rich, naturally sweet, and comforting. If you enjoy soups, be sure to preorder it in advance.

Authentic dim sum Chinese restaurant in old China Town. Our visit was on regular Thursday. I recommend others to visit specially on weekends. They have other special meals, but our choice was dim sum style dishes. High recommended.
Went with my family for July 4 dinner, the service was amazing every server help each other out so you didn＊t have to hunt down your server. The food was amazing and flavorful. Would come again !!

Food was delicious it was our first time and the social media post made us come try it out. We came for lobster and we got it with other items and everything tasted fresh!
The food and the service was excellent. I took my father there for the first time. And he really enjoyed it. We will go back. The owner talked to us and let us know that he had only been open three months but he was doing his best.
