It's been a while since I've had good Cantonese food and this place really hit the spot!
I ordered a ton of entrees to bring over to my grandparents' for dinner which came out to under $200. The portions were huge and typically in flushing, you'd never find that amount of food for under $200. Surprisingly, the food was not super salty and super oily which I really appreciated since it was for my grandparents.
My favorite thing that was ordered here was the Salted Egg Pumpkin. This is a must try! Other than that, the cashier told me she had added on some extra goodies for me since I ordered a lot and turns out it was Chinese dessert soup! Thanks a bunch !
Pre-ordered the king crab and roasted suckling pig; the former was prepared three ways- steamed, fried, and with fried rice. There was an abundance of meat throughout the legs and the rice was quite savory. The pig's meat was quite moist with crisp skin; a bun was proffered as a Peking duck-esque vehicle. The fried pig intestine was excellent with its idiosyncratic offal flavor. The steamed fish was tender and had a wealth of meat. Chicken was also solid and had thinly crisp skin.
Great food eat in or take out. But scarce table space make reservations a must. Sometimes you have to order the food in advance too cuz they could run out. The health grade is C. It it doesn't deter fans from going. Hasn't stopped me and haven't gotten sick yet. Lol
My favorite Chinese restaurant outside Main Street flushing. Really tasty BBQ meats. Friendly and accommodating service. Not large enough for banquets but great for small gatherings. Great location with free street parking around the neighborhood. The food is awesome and this is my go to place in Queens.
Good Luck Kitchen is a Cantonese gem in the Auburndale section of Queens. It's classic Cantonese cooking normally found in Chinatowns. We have gone many times through the years. The dining room is usually full on weekend lunch hours, quite a feat for a non-dim sum establishment. When you arrive there's a tiny 4 car parking lot right in front of the restaurant. Street parking can be found around the side streets. When you enter, you will find the staff, busy packing a ton of take out orders, which is another sign of quality. When you get to a table, you order from a standard Cantonese menu. There are no other regional dishes on the menu, just Cantonese.
The reason why we've come here multiple times is because of the double lobster fried sticky rice dish. It's a family-style entree that easily feeds 2-4 people. The sticky rice has wonderful hints of crunchiness and the lobster is fried to perfection. The clay pot is huge. When it comes to your table, you simply say "Wow"! We've had many other dishes, such as the General Tso's, the salt and pepper pork chops, e-fu noodles. We ever had an excellent version of Supreme Soy noodles. The wok hei of this dish is amazing. Good Luck Kitchen is everything you'd expect from a top notch Cantonese restaurant.
My friend recommended "Good Luck Kitchen for our brunch. We ordered pan fried flounder, oxtail in a clay pot, eggplant in a clay pot and a seafood Chow mein; it was so delicious! Customer service is great; usually full and packed. You can also order roast meats on the way out! I highly recommend this cantonese restaurant to All!
I'm back AGAIN!!!!
Absolutely the best roast pork over rice outside of Chinatown. Super tender and juicy pork with just the right balance of lean to fat ratio. Enough said, just come on down and try one for yourself.
Weekends are packed. You have customers of all different backgrounds at this restaurant, it is super amazing. The carry outs -expect a wait.
They are just sooo busy.
The food is very solid. 5 stars for making cantonese fare a huge part of the neighborhood.

This is the most efficient Cantonese food proprietor in the area. I usually try to order dinner by 5 p.m. and it'll be ready within 20 minutes for pick up. Allow me to further expound:
Food: the freshness and general quality of most items, even for take out, is quite superb. This place rivals some of the offerings in downtown Flushing. Fried pork chop, two lobsters over sticky rice, garlic with bean sprouts, garlic chicken, and string beans are among the favorites in my household. Portions are always great for the price paid. We love a good value!
Service: things are busy. Get an move on. Go to the cashier with your order number and pay cash. Always dial your order in ahead! Nobody's standing around waiting for you to decide what to order, no offense. I've never dined in, but my experience with staff is that they're quite friendly, especially if you speak Cantonese.
Decor: it's a tiny restaurant with a tight parking lot. If you're picking up, parking at Carvel for a few minutes usually isn't a problem, but I almost always try to find street parking - much easier to get in and out.
Five stars.
