I'm so happy that I saw this place! I don't understand why the rating is so low, but oh my, this is legit Chinese food! Very authentic northwestern Chinese style. The lamb was so good with the pepper salt dipping powder. Beef noodle soup, pork feet, frog leg, liang pi. They have everything I wanted and I wish I had a larger stomach will definitely come back
This is a mom-and-pop place for authentic Xinjiang (Uyghur-Chinese) food. Tons of roasted lamb and porridge options, along with traditional country-style cuisine (flat iron cooking and dry pots). The prices are fair -- most dishes are somewhere between $5 and $23, plus tax.
That said, the flavors emphasized here are tailored to Xinjiang cuisine, so if you're disappointed because you were expecting a more Cantonese/Shanghainese/Americanized take on the food, that's on you and not the restaurant. Some of these negative reviews here seem to be expecting the type of flavors and service you normally get at a seafood palace, and this is simply not a seafood palace either. Please be more considerate of local businesses when you review them. You wouldn't go to Maine for soul food or Idaho for Tex-Mex, so please don't go to a regional mom and pop and wonder why everything is not exactly the way you're used to it.
You won't be disappointed I ordered the cumin lamb was soo good! Never go wrong with any lamb and Liang Pi. They open 10:00am--2:00pm and 5:00pm--8:00pm!
First time ordered from weee. Good portion, authentic northwest taste. Food very well packed. Very impressed. Will come back
This place is a gem, and I wish I could eat there everyday! I've tried quite a few dishes here and everything met or exceeded my expectations. I recommend the Lanzhou beef noodles, and if you can handle or love the gamey smell/ flavor from goat, you should definitely order those dishes with goat. Yes I said goat not that lamb stuff. I highly suspect they got these goat meats from the high mountains of China and that's why they are extra gamey, and delicious, and authentic!
First time here the liang pi was very good . The spices and the cold noodles melted in your mouth like a waygu steak. This was the only dish I tasted however I will be back to try more.
The food was great, but the service needs work. I usually don't care about bad service in restaurants as long as the food is good, but the owner yelled at us simply for asking for take out box. She said she was too busy.
Please hire more staff so you aren't overwhelmed.
Ymmmmmmmmmm.Very authentic Chinese local flavor. The noodles are very delicious. You will never be disappointed.
One of the most authentic Northwest cuisine in the Bay Area. I've been chasing the traditional & original tasty in order to release my homesick since I'd moved here, so my husband and I went to the restaurant once it opened. The most fantastic thing was when I had my first bite of Kung Pao Chicken. Not like others which are changed the flavor to please the local, it's 100% home style. Definitely go back again. In addition, you'll feel sorry if you miss all kind of the hand made noodles.
I have been dreaming about Lanzhou hand pulled noodles ever since I moved to the US. This is the best of all the places I have tried. Luckily, it is also my hometown style. Various local northwest specialities: today I have tried, Fried noodle (³´ÀÃæ), BBQ lamp (ÄþÏÄ¿¾ÑòÅÅ), fried cold noodles(³´Á¹Æ¤), ÑòÈâ·ÛÌÀÅäÓÍÏã...the aftertaste is wonderful. Highly recommended restaurant for the people who want to try the most traditional Northwest food. Have to come back to try the other dishes on the menu.
Food is really good. Even their service is not perfect£¡ But all I ate worth it£¡£¡£¡ high recommend their ÊÖ×¥ÑòÈ⣡

The staffs are friendly. Saut¨¦ed chicken wings with chili and pepper are crispy and tasty. Boiled fish with bean sprout in hot chili oil and fish filets in hot chili oil are yummy. It reminds me of the good food in China. It is definitely one of the best restaurants to have lunch or dinner with friends and families at.

Today is the first time I ordered delivery from them ever since lockdown. I decided come here to wrote down my review to support their business because I have been surprised by how big the portion they made! I ordered lamb with vegetables and the lamb are so much I can't even finished! I know it's been a hard time for these restaurant businesses but I can tell they are still doing their best to serving their customers. Please everyone help our local community business as much as you can!
Fantastic meal. Very authentic Northern Chinese flavor. Ordered eggplant with ground beef, fish in hot oil, and spicy hand pull noodle soup. Chef makes the hand pull noodles right in front you which is impressive. Big portion on the fish. Eggplant fried lightly and did not feel heavy. Staff was quick to sit us and serve. I definitely recommend this place as an delicious and authentic meal.
We came as a big party and ordered many noodles to share. I can't remember what we ordered exactly now but there was liang pi, both spiced and non spiced versions of beef noodle soup (I really loved these), some noodle eggplant dish (surprisingly good), tomato egg noodle which I didn't try and the big plate chicken noodle which was my favorite! (It contains Sichuan peppercorns which are not really spicy but numbing... just a warning). We also had some other appetizers that were good and all of the noodles were good, I was pleasantly surprised and would come again!
The Hand pull noodle tastes like what I had back in China. The beef cold dish is spicy and tasty. I like the peanuts came with it. The cold noodle is also good and their dish is much larger than the other two store I've been to.
The food is so tasty and worth waiting. It's the best northwest China cuisine that I have ever had in the US.
