Cute new chinese place with a very large menu (comes with helpful pictures too!) we ordered the Garlic Fish and it was enough to serve two people at a great cost. The flavor waa perfect, and the mushrooms had a great chewiness to them.
Only downside was "My Heart Will Go On" was playing on repeat. Other than that, it was a great first experience.

The restaurant's Chinese name is 状元楼(Zhuang Yuan Lou) which means "very best restaurant" and it lives up to its name. I had some amazing eggplant and cumin lamb. And it's 锅包肉 is super crispy and delicious. If you want northeast Chinese food this place is great. It also had candied hawthorn on a stick which were a delicious dessert to end with. Very friendly staff and a great place to grab dinner.

Very tasty authentic Chinese food from different regions of China. Good variety for everyone's tastes. The menu is simple to read and has pictures, so you know what your ordering. I had ordered my favorite, the Lamb Kebabs and they were very juicy full of flavor would definitely recommend them, along with the draft beer they have . Owner is super nice and welcoming. Keep up the good job.

The food is so delicious, and the environment is clean. This is definitely the best Chinese restaurant I ever eat in Tucson!!!

Extensive menu with a wonderful variety of dishes. We had the cauliflower served in hot pepper sauce with a smidge of pork. Excellent balance of different fresh and dry peppers put this dish over the top. Service was very good and the place was packed.
Salt and pepper shrimp was very good. San Fran Chinatown hits the old Pueblo! We will definitely return to try the eggplant.

Four of us just had our first dinner at Chef Wang's, and it is superb!  Every dish was good, but the Cumin Lamb and the Eggplant with Pork were exceptional.  The Dan Dan Noodles had a wonderful taste, but were a bit overcooked.  The service is good, and the prices are reasonable.  Portions are immense, but takeout containers are readily available.
