It's the first time that I have eaten here since changed their name a few years ago.
Ate several items with my mom and nephew. There were two outstanding items. The Pineapple Bun which is really made from pineapples. The other was Beef Chow Fun. It was the best of all Chinese restaurants that I have been to in the Bay Area. Cheaper too by a few dollars.
Will return when I am in the area.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Had a big group of people so I was able to try a decent amount of their dishes, many which the staff recommended. I love that the new management here is pushing to hear what customers have to say about their food. It's not that they serve traditional style dishes, but rather they add in their own style, switch out some ingredients to make it interesting. And in these dishes, they work.
I would recommend this place for morning dim sum or evening friends and family dinner.
Apparently it's their soft opening now with new chefs and management. I have to say I'm pretty impressed considering I'm from New York and we have pretty good dim sum and Chinese food already.
We actually came here 3x for dim sum and 1x for dinner in the span of 4 days which says a lot. Prices are reasonable and the food is very good. It was a solid place to come bring family to enjoy a meal together.
The staff was really nice, and always refilling our teas and taking away dishes. I hope they do well, since the food is memorable.

Delicious! You must try it. The service was amazing. We had a great time and we enjoyed the food immensely. Everything was great. The vibe was good and the food was to so good.
Very yum dim sum! Dishes cooked to a nice crisp (good oils used, nothing is too dark). Fried bean curd was my favorite. The pineapple buns had actual pineapple chunks too which was a nice surprise.
The restaurant manager Jason informed me they switched chefs + have new management too. Great food and service all around.

Second time dinning in this restaurant. The food here was really really tasty and au. Especially the king crab, the chef made it in 3 entrees. The steamed king crab legs were real juicy and fresh. Golden pumpkin fries crab was very crispy. I would give 10 out of 10 for their food and service. Definitely gonna comeback again. My husband said he would rates this as the number one Cantonese restaurant in US.
Excellent king crab special cooked 3 ways - pumpkin fried, vermicelli and fried rice.
Service was surprisingly good for Cantonese restaurant. There was even small talk!

This Dim Sum restaurant is a great replacement for the previous one. I went with well experienced friends for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of the dishes. Pretty good service for a Chinese restaurant but, I'm Chinese and feel that the attention to service maybe linked to that. Back to the food, we were very satisfied with the variations of some basic dishes that were elevated to a more sumptuous level while still having the OG choices.
We will be back with more friends to try some of the more elaborate dishes such as seafood and bbq delicacies.
New ownership, management and delirious food! This is my second time this week coming back to grand Golden Bay seafood. We had king crab banquet it is so fresh even taste it sea water . Definitely is the best seafood restaurant in East Bay. Strongly recommend it, price is very reasonable with excellent service.
Food here is pretty decent for the price and service is not bad too. There are variety of dimsum plates that fit your dimsum craving. Will definitely come back!
