5 stars! The selection is great. There's something for everyone here. The highlights for me were the sushi bar, Mongolian area, soup and salad section and the wide variety of desserts! The service was fantastic and we never had to wait long for refill or plates to be cleared.
My check came during dessert which was perfect.
The only thing that was inconvenient was the parking lot. The spaces are way too small and I saw a few cars in the lot getting scratched and dinged because of how close they were parked.
5 stars because if you compare this place to other Asian buffets in Colorado this place is GREAT.
Pros: Mongolian station, chocolate fountain, continuous fresh food that comes out, great salad bar, soft-serve ice cream options and overall a CLEAN buffet. They are also fairly priced for both lunch, dinner and to go's.
We've all been to the gross, grimey buffets and this is not one of them. I also do keep in mind that they are new and they are probably very on top of things but I don't foresee this place becoming a "dirty" buffet anytime soon.
Cons: The fried foods are a bit dry, not sure if they are disability-friendly as far as how they seat parties( It was difficult to get back to our table every round) But that's really it.
Great for groups and when you are in BUFFET mood. Here is where you want to be.
Had my first meal here on a busy Saturday afternoon and will be repeat customer. Very clean welcoming environment. Staff friendly and worked hard to manage busy rush hour. The selection was great and there was definitely something for every taste. Price was 2 meals was $37 and that was more than fair for the variety. Looking forward to returning and making this a family meal get away!
This place is great good family friendly and CLEAN !!! I am a buffet person and there is not many great ones left and this one is BOMB !!!!
The food here is so0o0 mediocre, unauthentic, and so Americanized. And I love it!!! This is exactly what Chinese buffets are about. The true CB experience. And it's actually clean, which is a bonus and the service is good which is definitely a pleasant surprise. I think those people who give this place a bad review have gotten it totally twisted. You're supposed to come here to enjoy one of the seven deadly sins. (two deadly sins for some people I.e. grabbing two plates and taking all of the crab like it's gonna run away). It's not supposed to taste amazing. You're supposed to question whether you're actually eating beef. You can't come in here as a food snob expecting fine dining. definitely will come here every once or twice a year when I am craving some of this Mindless Chinese food experience.
I have been in Colorado for three years. And for three years I have waited for a buffet like this to open, and it did not disappoint!!
Have you been to some of the "other" buffets nearby? Have you desperately searched for a high-quality, and high quantity (in terms of items offered) Chinese buffet? Well search no further!
They even have a soft-serve machine and chocolate fountain! Heavenly!!
This is the new kid on the block, and they hit a home run. We used to go to Great Wall on South Wadsworth, but after several bouts of gastrointestinal unpleasantness, we stopped going there. How wonderful having found King Buffet in Arvada. It's a little out of our way but totally worth it. Traditional Chinese Cuisine, Mongolian BBQ, Sushi and family dining favorites for picky eaters, this place satisfies completely. Seating was immediate and the buffet was always well stocked with fresh items being brought out constantly. During this lunchtime visit, we were surprised at the amount of seafood offered. Certainly, no snow crabs but large selection of shrimp, clams, mussels and various kinds of Sushi. Mongolian for lunch hours is limited to chicken or beef plus veggies - expertly prepared in a few moments. Dessert of course is always a fun adventure from the Asian buffet perspective... We choose to stick the prepackaged ice cream noting the soft serve was ice milk and kind of awful. Overall great service, fresh food with no aftereffects, on our list of go to restaurants. Forget Great Wall and a couple of bucks more than Panda Express, give King Buffet a try.
Food was fresh and delicious! Place is clean and they have excellent service!!! This place is highly recommend if you are in the area. We will definitely eat here again when we are back in Colorado!!!
Loved the fresh sushi, the hibachi bar, the chocolate fountain, and all the food on the bar!! Great place!
This place is awesome. Is it gourmet? No, however, everything is fresh, everything is clean, and there is a lot of variety. The sushi is surprisingly good, I like their rice a lot, however some of the nigiri is cut very thin, offsetting the rice to fish ratio. The blue crab is great, I agree with another reviewer, put out the heads! I like the fried squid, the salt and pepper shrimp, the house chicken, and the baked mussels. I still haven't tried the Mongolian grill, but the options all looked pretty fresh and of decent quality. The chocolate fountain was amazing. I made a cone with half-and-half chocolate vanilla soft-serve, put a strawberry on top and dipped it in chocolate and it made me feel like I was 6 years old and it's the happiest I've been in years. Thank you, truly.
Great selection, and CLEAN!!! They have a Mongolian station and a sushi station with sushi made right in front of you... not the dried sushi that's been sitting there for hours. The Chinese food is spot on and wait for it... a frikkin ice cream bar. Buffet for less than 15 bucks for lunch. No contest, this one's up there.
Lunch was about ten bucks. A lot of variety, sushi, Mongolian BBQ, Chinese, very well laid out. Everything was fresh and clean. Staff were incredibly friendly. Glad to have a new lunch spot near work. Will definitely be back!
The staff is very attentive and has a quiet calm friendly attitude. There is a massive amount of buffet options from hot entrees to cold sushi, seafood and salads. I tried at least seven different types of shrimp and eight different types of sushi. The Mongolian grill looked appealing, but I was too stuffed to try that. They had many options for kids as well, but I was not feeling pizza, french fries or chicken nuggets. My favorite thing was the salt and pepper crab. I will be back with an appetite.
Great selection of food probably one of the best in Denver b! Very clean ! Good was really good only complaint is that they took so long to open haha definitely will be back
