Reviews:

This is a really delicious Xinjiang restaurant. It is located in the basement of a hotel. The space is small but beautifully decorated, filled with authentic Xinjiang touches. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, with patterned carpets, copper teapots, and a few traditional ornaments that make it feel inviting.

There were four of us that day. We had just finished a long hike and were tired and very hungry. We ordered a medium Big Plate Chicken, five Lamb Kawaps (skewers), four Meat Samsas, and one Lamb Polo (rice).

The Big Plate Chicken was very tender and flavorful. The sauce was rich and spicy, maybe a bit too spicy for me. I drank around seven or eight cups of water during the meal, but that also showed how tasty it was. The handmade noodles served with the chicken were perfectly chewy and absorbed the sauce beautifully. If it had been slightly less spicy, it would have been perfect.

The Onion Meat Samsa was one of the dishes I looked forward to the most. It did not look exactly like what I expected. Instead of a round shape, it was more like a quarter circle. Every chef has their own way of making it, so that was not a problem at all. The taste was amazing. The filling was juicy and flavorful. The lamb had no strong smell, and the onion added a sweet and aromatic note. One of my friends ordered the Squash Meat Samsa, and they said it was also delicious.

The Lamb Kawaps and Lamb Polo were both classic and satisfying. The skewers were grilled to perfection, smoky on the outside and juicy inside. The Lamb Polo had a nice flavor, although I felt the lamb might have been steamed separately instead of cooked together with the rice, so it missed a little of that deep, combined aroma. Even so, it was still tasty and enjoyable.

Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting, especially if you enjoy Xinjiang cuisine. If you are not good with spicy food, it is a good idea to tell the staff to make it milder. The dishes here taste homemade but rich in authentic flavor, a great place to enjoy a hearty meal after a long day.

Food was delicious & atmosphere is cozy.

Enjoyed the 2 main dishes we ordered and the lamb skewers. Nan Qordag (Mutton Stew over Nan flatbread) was delicious. We really enjoyed the Eggplant Meat Laghman (茄子拉麵), chewy tasty noodles and wonderful tasting eggplant bites with mutton slices.

Small comfortable restaurant in the lower floor of the Best Western hotel.

We will be back to try more of the menu.

Absolutely amazing Halal Uyghur food! The laghman and lamb kebabs were full of flavor. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and great portions for the price. Definitely one of the best spots for authentic Central Asian food — highly recommend New Nurlan!

Wow I’ve had a lot of lamb noodles and this place ranks up there as #2! Sauce was on point and very flavorful. Lamb kabobs were flavorful and tender, unlike other places. All the other dishes were great too. I will definitely come back!!

If you want to eat good food, this is a must visit place. The Langham is perfect!

Best lamb dishes ever! Family owned and run please come support this local business. Food is delicious and very affordable.

Delicious food and ambiance.

辣椒油非常美味,可单独购买

laghman真好吃!谢谢!

Food was amazing!

I live in Taipei and eat a lot of chinese-style food. I have to say that the food at this place is absolutely amazing.

I got the beef eggplant with rice and the lamb skewers. Both of them full of flavors. Portion is big.

For the muslim brothers, this place states that it is halal.

What a hidden gem in flushing! The noodles is perfectly chewy and full of the gluten flavor. Lamp is tender, eggplant is flavorful! The beef and onion pie is delicious as well! Their yogurt is one of the best I’ve had.

Very authentic local food from XinJiang!

I wasn't expecting this to taste amazing. It's located in the hotel. My wife's hometown is Yinchaun. If you ever went it's known for their lamb. This spot is the closest thing you can get for authentic lamb. It's amazing.

Instant new favorite. The location is a bit disorienting, but the decor and table settings are charmingly traditional. For the food, the spices were delicious without being overwhelming, generous portions of both lamb and vegetables and the noodles were very fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend and definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu and delicious teas.

Herşey mükemmel herkese tavsiye ediyorum.

超级喜欢这道丁丁炒面!短短的面条炒得很入味,搭配羊肉特别香,吃起来特别有满足感。

Their meals are very authentic, 100% recreating the taste of Xinjiang cuisine, and the portions are generous.

Best Uyghur food in New York!
Highly recommended.

This is truly an amazing place! Everything was nice and flavorful! Really loved the lamb skewer! If you are in the Flushing area and looking for a place to eat, this is definitely worth a try!

The most delicious Uygur layman ( noodle) I have eaten in NYC.

食物好 服务好 店里都是很地方特色的装饰 看得出来很多来自新疆本地 老板很用心。大羊肉串是法拉盛天花板。

Fantastic foods it’s something new recommend.

This restaurant is tucked away in the basement, accessible through a small entrance that’s easy to miss—but it truly proves the saying that "good wine needs no bush." Their Xinjiang cuisine is absolutely delicious, with generous portions and no real flaws to speak of. The decor, featuring many cultural elements from Xinjiang, adds to the immersive dining experience.

The only area for improvement is the service: with just one person handling payments, service, and sometimes even food delivery, it can occasionally feel a bit slow or impersonal.

Still, I hope they continue to maintain their outstanding food quality, and with some enhancements to service, more people will discover and enjoy this hidden gem.

The food is great.

Great foods!! Not a single dish could go wrong. I love the mutton lamb here. The milk tea is also a highlight.
Service is fine.

The dishes we ordered were lamb platter, spicy lagman and manta. All were delicious.

Great Uyghur spot!
I love the decor, the food, and the service. It’s location is just hidden enough to only draw the truly curious, and the spice level of the food is perfect for the adventurous.
