I didn't realize how much I like Sichuan food until I ate here! Don't let the red peppers and spices scare you, I'm a baby when it comes to spice and could handle most of it.
We ordered their popular fish in gravy sauce which is a large bowl that comes with about 8 decent sized pieces of white fish on top of lots of vegetables. Has a kick, but is great with rice. This was one of my favorite dishes. We also got their fried chicken dish which had a ton of great flavor. Didn't taste greasy at all and comes with a decent portion of chicken. I didn't eat the red peppers that came with it. We got the general taos chicken (I would pass on this-nothing special). Also ordered their house special fried rice- 4/5 but large portion. Their pea vines were good and was a nice addition to all of our meat and carbs!
Quick service and the food was incredible. I will be back!
This is definitely a great restaurant if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, especially Szechuan food. I highly recommend feiteng grilled fish. It was well prepared and delicious. Absolutely great flavor! Check this out!
This mapo tofu is delicious!!!!!! It's perfect with rice!!!!! Loved it!
I really recommend everyone to try this out! Especially with rice!
This is one of the best Chinese food in Bellevue. Their chef is really nice and food tastes great. Highly recommend to people who love spicy food. And make sure you request more spice to get more authentic flavor!!
My friends and I went to the restaurant by occasion. They have both authentic Chinese food and American Chinese food, which is awesome. We ordered the frying fish and the shredded potatoes and they tasted soooo good. Beyond my expectation! By the way, their service was also quick. It only took us 10min to wait for the food. I'll definitely come back next time.
This fried chicken is really delicious! The crispy outside skin with the juicy inside meat is perfect matched together!
The sauce is also perfect with the fried chicken.
Probably the best honey walnut prawns I've had... ever! The prawns were so big and juicy! I could only eat about 3! My mom and I also ordered eggplant, house special fried rice, and wonton soup. We loved everything! The wonton soup was just perfect. Usually it's salty at other places I've gone to.
It was completely packed when my mom went around dinner time. Expect about a 15 minute wait. Frying Fish seems to be a popular Schezuan Chinese food spot. Finding parking wasn't much of a problem though.
Of my goodness.... Our large group ordered family style.. So we got to try many entrees. Blown away by the Glazed Walnet Scallops! The authentic brown rice was amazing.
Best kept secret for authentic Chinese food in the Seattle area. Highly recommend the sour preserved veggie soup with fatty beef and the dry fried sole. Service was crazy fast. Our first dish came within 7 min of our order and we had all our dishes within 15 min of ordering.
Had dinner with my friends on a Saturday night. We arrived around 6:30pm, and waited for about 15min before got seated. The fish was their special, which was killed after we ordered, and it was really fresh and delicious. We also had stir fried pig kidney, tofu and pig intestine in hot pot, and green veggies. The pig kidney was authentic Chinese style, and I loved it. The veggies were fresh and light. We also had half pig ears and half beef for appetizer, which was spicy and yummy. We really enjoyed our dinner here.
Really good restaurant. Food is good, staff is good. Sichuan food is always my favorite. I went there with my friends and we had a good time. The spiciness is just right. Will go again next time
Good restaurant, nice service. The fish is recommended. The price is reasonable as well. I would come here again! You can find real Chinese food here.
This is absolutely my favorite Chinese restaurant in town! If you are looking for some authentic Chinese food, this it THE PLACE! Since the place has "fish" in its name, we decided to try a fish dish. The fish tasted fresh and flavorful, not too salty (which is something I'm always concerned about). The environment was great too. We went for a birthday dinner, and I would totally recommend it for any kind of dinner meeting or party. Anyways, five stars and I'm definitely coming back again.
Very nicely cooked. Not so spicy but have the taste that make u know it is a Sichuan food. A great one for people not so good at eating spicy food but still want to have a taste of typical Sichuan food. Pretty decent among of meat in the dish, not as some other restaurants.
Frying fish is really a good place for lunch. I went there with my friend and we enjoyed a lot. Everything is delicious! highly recommend 金银小馒头, the best memory of childhood
This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Seattle area! I absolutely love spicy, peppercorn style Sichuan food and this places is as close to as it gets to being in ChengDu 6,000 miles away. I spent 10 years in China and ate Sichuan food almost everyday. After moving to Washington, I was really disappointed with the Chinese food scene until finding this restaurant.
My favorite dishes are the Spicy Fish Pot and Spicy Bull Frog Pot. If you can handle it, ask for extra hot peppers and peppercorn. The fish is cooked in hot oil so it is super tender and just melts in your mouth. The cold dishes up front are really good and I like the roasted peanuts and "guts" dishes.
This restaurant has a full range of Chinese Baijiu which pairs well with any hot pot. Love this place!!
Recommended by my friend, my family and I came here for dinner. We ordered their FeiTeng Alive Fish and the spicy level was just right. We also had a taste of the Dan Dan Noodle and it did not disappoint us. We really enjoy our meal and it now became my favorite Szechuan restaurant in Bellevue.
A great place for trying out authentic Chinese cuisine! My favorite is the Spicy Sour Alive Fish!!! Haha, the name sounds really scary but the dish tastes really savory~ They are just trying to use the word "alive" to describe how fresh the fish is :P the word works in Chinese but might not in English. Anyway, please don't be scared, the Spicy Sour Alive fish is a must-try!!! It's well-done :D
I've been thinking of having Sichuan food for a while and my friends brought me here. It didn't let me down cuz the food was surprisingly good. The price is acceptable as well. I will definitely come back again.
Very tasty restaurant, I really like their fried rice. The service there was also good. They have both American Chinese food and traditional Chinese food, so quite impressive. I would go there again.
Don't know why this place is under-rated, but it has great, authentic tasting Chinese food including Szechuan classics like dry fried green beans and spicy boiled fish. Would also recommend the off-menu house special feitung beef. It's a delicious pot of thinly spiced fatty beef with sour preserved veggies, enoki mushrooms, chao tan chilis, and glass noodles. Portions are huge and prices are pretty reasonable.
If you enjoy spicy Sichuan cuisine prepared from live fish. It is great.l but pricy though.
Great authentic Chinese food. My canary in the coal mine with Chinese restaurants is the hit and sour soup. Frying fish did not disappoint. Everything that was ordered was tip top.
