Calm down everyone. This is a place for drinks, not some fancy Michelin star establishment. Curtail your expectations, and you'll actually enjoy the drinks and experience here.
Just like I did.
I'm not going to get into a whole diatribe of juxtaposition between one location five cities away and this one. Frankly, I've never been to the fullerton location and I'm not going there anytime soon. I came here for an interesting drink and I got it. Times two.
I had the brûl¨¦e milk tea and my girlfriend had the devil wuwu brûl¨¦e. Honestly, her drink was more delicious than mine and I was a little envious. Mine was just okay. Her drink packed in a mix of Chewy boba with a brûl¨¦e topper. It was like a creme brûl¨¦e. Mine was like a thick milky sweet thing. The only thing about her drink is it was thicker and wasn't getting cold enough from the ice. Mine was nice and chilly.
So- five stars. Not that hard to please me, and this place did it right
This place just opened. All the boba and teas are very delicious. I also love their cheese topping; it was very well done. The boba is soft.
We ordered Brûl¨¦e bubble milk tea, Shizuoka matcha, Oreo cheese milk tea, Oreo cheese milk tea. All were good!
They also have fruity drinks and seasonal tea flavors. The inside is very cute and welcoming.
Flavor special chill and relaxing place
Fruit teas are remarkable!
Cheese form is lite and creamy, refreshing and milky.
A brand new boba store in the heart of Monterey Park! I saw this boba store while I was vacationing in Hong Kong, was saddened to know the only other location was in Fullerton, but excited to learn that this store was opening up that would be much closer to home!
It's a quaint shop in the Evergreen Plaza, but the big sign outside makes sure you won't miss it. The inside is cutely decorated all around and feels pretty cozy. On top of that, there's plenty of seating for those wanting to hang out, free wifi, and some card games to check out!
The drinks were reasonably priced for the quality I got. I tried the Shizuoka Matcha and Jasmine Green Tea with Cheese. The matcha lived up to its matcha name, with every milky sip delightfully matcha tasting and the cheese foam adding a perfect amount of richness to the drink. The jasmine tea was very refreshing, with the cheese foam being a nice touch to it.
A side note: both drinks were not overly sweet, which I liked and were a welcome surprise in comparison to how sweet boba drinks from other shops in the area can be.
Considering how close this shop is from my home, I will definitely be back for more! Their buy 10, get 1 free drink stamp card is a great bonus, so be sure to take advantage of that!
I feel like this place is really underrated! This is now my go to boba place in Monterey Park. All the drinks seemed enticing but my boyfriend and I settled on the pomelo mango sago and a lime yogurty drink (I forgot the actual name used.. lime icheo? Something like that) and they were both very good! The drinks came out to around $12, but both of them had real fruits in them. The pomelo mango had slices and chunks of mango, grapefruit/pomelo pulp, and agar boba (qq boba) added in. The lime yogurt drink tasted like a lemon calpico drink? I'm excited to try the other drinks on the menu :)
I am a Cheese Foam Tea addict. I always look for new Cafes that sell delicious, thick, legit Cheese Foam. Most true Chinese or Taiwanese Bubble Tea Cafes usually get it right. And this place.... got it so right! This place is fairly new. Minimalistic, Cute, & Clean. I love the selection of music which were Remixes of Top 40 hits. The artists were between a Jay Runner & J.Fla. I felt like was on a vacation!
Now for the actual Tea. I usually judge every Boba Tea Place by the quality & taste of their most Basic Tea which is mainly their Jasmine or High Mountain Green Tea. Their Green Tea here is refreshing, not too strong & not too light, & has a good color. The Cheese Foam tastes amazing here. It actually rivals my 2nd place spot that I go to for Cheese Foam Green Tea lol. My eyes literally opened wide with happiness when I tasted it.
I highly recommend the most basic drink here, which is the Jasmine Green Tea with Cheese Foam (less ice, half sweet). It is so refreshing! The Cheese Foam slightly overpowers the Green Tea to a point where you can taste that this is no normal Milk\Cream Green Tea. You know for sure that this is a CHEESE FOAM Green Tea. Which is a great thing! They blend so well together. I also got one of their Seasonal Teas, the Watermelon Cheese Tea (less ice, half sweet). It is blended real Watermelon & Jasmine Green Tea with the Cheese Foam on top! The blended Watermelon was fresh and didnt taste stale, it tastes juicy! Also take advantage of their Buy 2 Drinks and get 2nd drink 50% Off Deal on Yelp.
The customer service was great! The cashier answered all of my questions with no attitude and looked very attentive. Another lady approached me while I was sitting down with my drinks. She was a pretty lady maybe in her 30s? She told me how to use the Sip part of the cup. Like what was the purpose of it was which was to get 50/50 of every taste in the cup without totally mixing everything. I thought that was so cute. I complimemted their drinks and she humbly said Thank You.
I totally recommend this place!
Discover this new place today and ordered cheese watermelon with half sugar; It was really good and refresh in this chilled season. Haven't check it out, go for it and you won't regret
Great tasting in HeereTea Monterey Park. Good staff and good drink. I like Devil wu wu milk and pink peach.
I am so glad I came to heere tea! When I entered I was greeted by the workers on my right. In front of me were couches of different colors. They are very cute! The whole store was very cute with little pictures and things.
I looked at the menu and decided to get devil wuwu and the brulee milk tea. I was disappointed that they sold out of a pink drink I saw on yelp.
The boba was soft and chewy and tasted like caramel. I have not tasted boba that good in a long time!
The devil wuwu drink was sweet and tasted a little bit like oreo. It was smooth and rich in flavor. I wish it didn't come in only one size!
The brulee milk tea tasted like milk tea. It had more of a tea flavor.
I will definitely come here again! The two drinks I got were delicious and I will definitely try the pink drink they sold out of. The staff were also very friendly.
Right now they have a coupon since it's their grand opening so I strongly reccomend coming here!
My go-to boba spot! The drinks are well made and not too sweet. Seating area is clean and cozy.
Very cute new boba place in Deerfield Plaza. We ordered the Devil Wuwu and Oreo Brulee Milk tea. Both were very good. The Devil Wuwu has a caramel flavor on top due to the burned sugar, which makes the drink sweet, but not overwhelming. Their milk tea drinks aren't as sweet compared to most boba places, so I understand why others say that it tastes watered down. However, I don't believe that it is, since the tea flavor is strong. I think they just don't add as much sugar, so if you prefer your tea with a stronger tea flavor, I would recommend the Brulee Milk Tea. The Devil Wuwu reminds me of a creme brulee version of Tancha's royal tiramisu milk tea. Boba was very soft and fresh. A little pricey, but reasonable. There was 6 tables; 2 small, 4 booths, and 1 larger table. It was packed l, but not too noisy. I think it would be a nice study place or hangout for small groups. Plenty of parking in the plaza.
Had the Grapefruit Green Tea. Amazing taste. Also like the cup quality. Highly recommend this drink.
The surrounding is so nice and the service was very satisfying. This might be my favorite place of all. Their fruit tea tastes the best. I love the passion fruit tea there. The price might be a little off but I think it's worth it because of the nice environment and the best taste of the fruit tea.
