Enjoyed eating Wonton Soup and Hainan Chicken Rice.....both dishes were delicious.
I brought my own homemade Hot Chili Oil to accompany the wonton soup....I did not see any available on my table.....it's a must have for my wontons.....it completes the experience!!! However, before I left the restaurant.....I asked the staff why there were no chili oils on the tables....he smiled and said they do have them available upon request....and they are homemade.....now that is great news!!!
My second course was the Hainan Chicken Rice. Everybody has their own style of eating this dish with the 3 sauces that came with the dish. My way is just to add all the sauces together into the rice and chicken, mix them, and enjoy. Although, I am open for any suggestions on the traditional way of eating this dish with sauces.
I give this restaurant 5 Stars!!!!!
My friends were visiting from out of town and after a long night we decided to get some comfort food to help with our hangover.
We ordered the Chilled Spicy Cucumber, Mountain Yam & Salted Chicken Congee, Shrimp & Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and Fried Vegetable Spring Rolls. All of the dishes were light and hearty. Definitely cured our hangover.
Would recommend!
Authentic Hk style wonton and dumpling soup, parents approved also! Chefs and staff are mostly from Hk too!

Clear broth beef stew with rice noodle taste like pho, lots of meat also, mostly beef brisket meat and it was GOOD!

Service was wonderful and the food came out impressively quickly. I ordered the hainanese chicken and rice as well as the chilled spicy cucumber. Separate from this photo, I also ordered the chicken broth and curry with roti to go. Everything tasted wonderful. The chicken was juicy and flavorful as well as the rice. The ginger sauce was mild and the spicy sauce had a nice vinegar background to brighten everything, making this a refreshing and satisfying meal. I definitely recommend if you're looking for wonderfully prepared classic dishes. Looking forward to the next visit to try their noodle dishes!
Yummy food! Great value!!!! Definitely a change from the food of the strip but now I have to come here when I'm Vegas! Ambiance and service are top notch!
Ran in for a quick bite of some of my favorite dishes and was completely happy and satisfied! All the food came out hot and fresh! We had seafood laksa, curry fish balls and salt and pepper squid. Each dish had traditional flavors and brought a smile to my face!
I would highly recommend 88 Noodle Papa for anyone craving good Asian food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. Place was clean. It's small but can fit larger parties by pushing tables together. Definitely will come again!
This place is great. Each dish may be a bit on the pricey side but each dish is worth it! We were trying to find a good Cantonese place to eat, and found out that the place we usually go across from this plaza closed down. Glad that we searched Yelp and saw that this place had really good reviews. The place is in one of the newer plazas that has a bunch of food and dessert places. It is not that big of a joint, but we able to somehow get 6 of us seated with just a bit of a wait.
Food
Again the food was so good I would say it is up to your preference of what you want to order. I will list down a bit of recommendations.
Hainan Chicken Rice- So good with the dipping sauces, and the Hainan flavored rice.
Curry Fish Ball- Have to try this, one of the best curry fish balls that I have had!
Curry Beef ("ow lam") - This with rice is just excellent. The meat isn't too tough, and is accompanied with potato that tasted roasted.
Wonton Noodle Soup- Their noodles are good and wontons are filled with huge shrimp.
Again make sure if you are in Vegas to give this place a try. I now know a spot I will want to visit each time! Until next time!
This is the best Hong Kong-style Wonton I've had since I've been here.
For appetizer, Crispy fried squid whisker and Braised Pork Knuckle are super recommended.
This is among the best places in Chinatown. It is my go-to every time I am in town. Very authentic and delicious food. The chicken soup is my favorite one.
We decided to come here for lunch and it was a great experience. The Restaurant is in the corner of the plaza along side multiple restaurants. We got seated right away and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food came out fast within a few minutes of ordering. The presentation was great, food tasted amazing. I highly recommend trying the Hainan chicken and spend the extra for the dark meat option. Prices were reasonable and everything we order tasted great. Definitely coming back next Vegas trip.
I always come here for their famous Hainan Chicken. Boneless with skin on which is hard to find! They started to charge on extra sauce (love the ginger one) like some places did. Dining out is 30%+ on prices now due to economic inflation/crisis!
88 Noodle Papa has the best curry dishes ever. I'm not exactly sure what style of curry it is, but it is so darn good. I want to say it's Hong Kong style, but there seems to be a Malaysian/ Singaporean flare. Both the beef and chicken options are super yummy, the only curry I make sure to lick my entire plate clean. I also love their Hong Kong Milk Tea and they are also known for Hainan Chicken.
This place is very authentic Cantonese style restaurant. We ordered different type of noodle soup and my favorite is the Szechuan beef stew. The favor is very tasty and the meat is very tender. I highly recommend the fried fish skin...soo good!
