TARO shaved ice special -- super delicious and refreshing. Not too sweet and the mochi, kiwi, strawberry, dragonfruit, and more fruit sides were great.
Portion size was good as well, enough to feed 3 of us and satisfy our dessert craving. This dish is under $10, so if you're just getting this, then you can only pay cash (cash only $10 or under).
Cute decor and bright lights inside. Also service was friendly and dessert came out very fast!
This place is amazing! Great friendly staff and the food came out quick. So many amazing things on the menu! We will definitely be back. Have to catch them... I mean try them all.
Traditional Hong Kong dessert from cold to hot. The desserts vary from fruits to grass jelly and lychee to many other things. Easily shareable and affordable as they are not too sweet. Portions are well balanced and everything seems fresh and colorful. the service was friendly and quick as well. A cute charming place for dessert.
Solid dessert spot that's uniquely Asian. A lot of the stuff is of a Hong Kong and Taiwan palette that's tough to find around Boston. Modern and friendly decor with good desserts that come out fresh and quick.
I have been here many times since it opened year ago.
At first they didn't have pizzas, and they recommended their Asian desserts and ice. I honestly love all of them. The dessert they serve are delicate and delicious.
Now, apart from desserts, they also serve fried shrimp, chicken wings and even pizzas. Durian pizza is one of my favorites. It is very unique, and the taste is complicating! Try it yourself!
If your in mood for some Asian deserts this is the place you must go to. They have so many options to choose from which all look delicious. Must try are the ones with Mangoes in it.
Last minute choice of grabbing some dessert at the area after getting some Korean food for early dinner. My friend took me here and it was her second time at the place. Ive been wanting to come here too for the longest time but didn't get the chance to visit.
So the time finally came. It's was the weekday so it was pretty slow. I wanted to get the one with the dry ice effect but they only have it on the weekends only. Too bad! Maybe next time I'll come back on the weekend to try it. It's really cute! Lol
Aside from the snow day. We also got the durian pastry. I forgot the name but it was pretty good! Me and my friend just shared the food we got and hanged out for a couple of hours. I had to go home and she had to work as well.
The interior is really stylish too. The bathroom was nice and spacious inside. Seems like it's a new place that they built. Tables are like 6 or 7 of them and the people working is friendly so far.
Would love to come back next time to try some new stuff from the menu.
I've been here three times so far, though if it was closer to my school campus, I probably would visit more. I love all the Hong Kong style desserts they have here!
The first time I came, I brought about ~7 other people with me. Most of them haven't tried asian desserts before, so they were very intrigued. In the end, most of the group ordered snowdaes (1 per person). As each snowdae is pretty large, I would recommend splitting one versus buying one per person. I had a durian sago, and split a mango pochette with a couple other friends. They were all delicious, and everyone left happy. The server was also super nice. There was a lot of random food restrictions in my group (lactose intolerant, vegetarian, coconut allergy etc.) and she was willing to answer all my questions and concerns.
The second time I came, I split a 10" durian pizza with a friend. I've been wanting to get the pizza for a while, because I love durian and really wanted to try it in pizza form. Essentially, the durian pizza is similar to a normal cheese pizza, but the tomato sauce was replaced by durian. I was actually surprised, because I went in assuming the durian was going to be a topping. Both of us ended up being pretty full with half a pizza, and were very happy with our meal.
The last time, I came alone to study and get work done. I came after eating dinner nearby, so I just had some tea, the teapot of honey pomelo tea. It came in a cute teapot that sat above a candle, so the tea was always warm. The cups I got were a little small, only a couple sips of tea, so I had to keep refilling my cup. Other than that, I really enjoyed the tea itself; it was not overly sweet, but had good flavor. There's also wifi so I was able to do work. The store was a little noisy so it was hard to concentrate.
All in all, I would highly recommend C Fruit Life if anyone is craving asian desserts! I think my toughest struggle is trying to decide what to order because everything seems so yummy!
